I have used this item a few times, I have not tried all the functions as of yet. I do like it and it seems to work well. I like the fact you can brown in it first then switch it over to slow cook. It does switch to warm mode at the end of the cooking time, which is helpful for me. Down side is that it is expensive but if all the functions work as well as what the slow cooker/browning/auto warm function does, then it might be worth the price tag.

I am very happy with this product. Everything that I have made has exceeded my expectations .I have made several pot roasts and all have been delicious.
I really like being able to sear meat before slow cooking.

I have had several slow cookers over the past 45 years of married life. I recently decided to splurge and bought this one. It was worth every penny. The food comes out fantastic. What is great too is being able to brown, steam or slow cook in the same pot. I would recommend it to all who love to slow cook!

This product is unbelievable. Cuisinart products are made in the usa and they stand by their products. For all of the reviews that I have read for this company's products, they would not give a three guarantee if they didn't think all of them are quality products. This is a top of the line item and am still experimenting with what you can do with it, but I am an experienced cook. While it's plain vanilla, you can always buy the other accessories that you can use with it - it slow cooks, browns/sautes and steams. Use your imagination and I'm sure it will be the best multi cooker you have ever bought.

I have been married almost 45 years and have cooked with many different kinds of crock pots over those years. I got an expensive crock pot of another brand in October 2012. It just wasn't cooking right. It took me 10 or 11 hours on at least medium setting to cook something that should have taken 7 or 8 hrs on low. I finally returned my $99 crock pot, which Bed Bath and Beyond was kind enough to credit me for my purchase price. I would never shop anywhere else if I can get it at this store. They have the best customer service. I purchased this Cuisinart Cook Central instead and it is truly amazing. Do not hesitate. In my opinion it is the best slow cooker I have ever come across. You can even bake up to 400 degrees. And in one crock you can brown and then switch to slow cook. I am so happy i spent the extra money!
