I was looking for an inexpensive digital frame to view about 500 pictures stored on a USB drive I scanned from old slides for my father for Christmas. Since I waited 'til the last minute, this was the only one I could find and figured that for the extra cost, the added features may be worth it. After many hours of trying to figure this thing out (menus are difficult and the manual is sketchy), here are my issues with it: Organization of photos into albums is worthless since selected pix on the USB get copied to internal memory to include them in an album. Since there is less than 120MB available for internal memory, you can only put about 50 total pix into the 10 or more total albums available making this feature useless (unless you have 5 or fewer pix per album). So then I figured I'd let it display all pictures in random order (USB pix only), but found out that it kept repeating the same pictures (about 50) over and over. Again - useless feature. I was well within the specified memory limitation of the USB port, but was never able to figure out how to view all of the pictures on the USB drive. This is going back for a refund. The screen is nice and this could be a great product with a little more development of the features they attempted to deliver, but failed horribly.

I used to buy the Pandigital 8" digital frames each year from BB&B, but they were not available this year. While this frame is very similar (at a similar price), it has very little memory and fewer features. It says 123MB (which is already half of the Pandigital version), but actually there's only 75MB of internal memory free for photos. Also, unlike the Pandigital, I could not delete the pre-loaded photos to clear more space, nor does it have the feature to add a greeting. I am not able to load enough photos to make this worthwhile for family gifts, and at this price, it would be dumb to have to buy additional memory, so I will return.
