I bought this item but then returned it. I had some immediate concerns about its quality when I noticed the top of the machine wobbling after I first turned it on. It never stops wobbling. When I tried processing carrots, the machine made a lot of noise and then stopped because the top had been dislodged ( safety feature) due to jamming. The pulp that is created by this machine is very wet, and it was suggested by Kuvings that I should process the wet pulp AGAIN. Oh boy, is THIS taking a long time to get a glass of juice! Overall, 'masticating juicing' is an expensive ( machine cost) and time consuming hobby. It takes a lot of produce to create one glass of juice, and that produce must be cut into small pieces to feed into the narrow tube. The cleanup can be a chore as well if you use very fibrous veggies like celery. It took me about 15 minutes to clean all the parts of this juicer. I decided that I would prefer the 'whole juice' approach of a blender rather than a juicer. The pulp is nourishing and should not be discarded as a 'juicer' does. Blenders take about 5 minutes to clean up.

The red looks great on the counter so I don't have to try and hide it. Very easy to put back together after just one try. (If you line up the red dots, and the lid goes on smoothly, you have it! Easy-peasy!) And It gets so much juice out of everything. I love it. Definitely not disappointed. (Only weird thing is the translated recipe booklet.)

I love this juicer! It's easy to use, easy to clean with the cleaning attachments, so quiet, and fun to use!! It does and excellent job of juicing everything from kale and spinach to carrots and apples. I get so much juice out of each vegetable/fruit and it blends deliciously. Highly recommend!

Kuvings Masting Juicer superior to any centrifugal

I have been using the Kuvings masticating juicer for a couple weeks now and I am very impressed compared to the performance of my old centrifugal juicer. I did a 60 day juicing cleanse a few months ago, and at the time thought I was getting a lot of juice out of my produce. I now realize I wasn't, as I am getting much more juice from the Kuvings juicer and the pulp expelled is drier. Your produce dollar really stretches a whole lot more with this juicer and that's something important to anyone who is doing any amount of juicing! And I never realized how loud my old juicer was until I got my Kuvings...this thing is so quiet! I don't have to worry that I might wake my husband up anymore when I'm juicing at 5am! And it also cleans more easily and assembles quickly, which is great when you juice as much as I do. I would highly recommend the Kuvings masticating juicer to anyone wanting a quality product that will really get them the most "bang for their buck"!

After opening and disregarding the instructions I had the unit put together in about 10 minutes [Trick is to line up the red dots :) ] It was actually pretty quiet and the juice it made was fantastic. Overall, I am much more impressed with this juicer than I thought I would be.

I got this juicer as a gift and it had been sitting on the counter for about two weeks. I was hesitating to use it for the first time, thinking it might be a lot of work. I had friends over this weekend and decided that we would experiment, so I bought a bunch of fruits and vegetables for the juicer. We had so much fun watching the juicer at work! It was so simple to use, quick, and quiet. The juice was delicious! I never thought spinach and apples could be so yummy. It does have a few parts to clean afterwards but it was well worth it.

When I saw my juicer on the front page today, I had to leave a review. First of all, the red color is awesome in my kitchen. When my friends visit my home, their first question is what is that? I throughly enjoy making juice for both me and my friends. It is really fun to make juice, which is probably why I juice every other day. I really recommend this juicer because its great looking and it makes wonderful tasting juice. It is very quiet too. It has plenty of power but it is pretty pricey. I just ordered a Kuvings NJE3580 as a gift for my sister. I hope she likes it.

Great Juicer

These vertical juicers really excel and beat the rest when it comes to softer fruits and vegetables. I have used both Omega and Kuvings and found both can have a problem with overfeeding - too fast or too much at once - hard ingredients like carrots or beets. I checked and the VRT series has a 150W motor while the Kuvings is 240W. So basically they’re functionally close other than the exterior color and aesthetic design. Warranty is also the same for both - 10 years. I feel Kuvings has a little bit more power, a few better design touches like the handle and BPA-free Tritan juicing bowl/cup so the decision was easy for me once I saw the facts for myself.

My wife liked the color and all the features appeared to be the same as the other juicers we'd been looking at. Not so much ... especially on the way it works. This juicer clogs often. The yield seemed exceptionally low, especially after about a week or 2 of use, so we went back to the store, bought the other low speed brand - Omega - and did a comparison. We returned this red juicer. And we kept the Omega. Very happy now!!
