Terrifyingly Bad Product

Wow, how badly designed could a product be? The risky process of making the kettle corn might have been excusable if the end product were even remotely acceptable. However, even the parts that weren't burnt to a char were smoke-infused and revolting. In what world does this electronic device meet any production standards? It seems that the chimps who probably built this machine also were in charge of inventing it. On par with the fictional Cornballer, but worse because this is real life and someone is definitely going to burn an important body part on this thing.

I received this Kettle Corn maker for Christmas and it is horrible. I give it zero stars because it just doesn't work. I tried it 6 times and it burns the popcorn every time. I tried every way possible to get it to work correctly but it just burns. It is a horror to clean and has to be unassembled every time you clean it and it takes 20 minutes or more to clean. DON'T BUY IT!!!

Very dissatisfied

Seems like a good idea, but does not deliver. Followed instructions to the T, and the 5 cups of popcorn still burned. Very poor design, making you reach around the back of the hot popper to switch modes, nearly impossible to clean burned sugar from the bottom of popper. Package says you can us it to roast nuts, no details of how to do so in owner's manual. Bought this for a Christmas gift for my parents, and had to return it. Only one star because that's the lowest possible rating. Stovetop recipes deliver better results for a lot less money and hassle. Don't buy this unless it is as a gift for someone you really don't like.

Horrible Purchase

I would give this product zero stars if I could. This was a spur of the moment purchase that I regret. The stirring mechanism clumps the popcorn together and the kettle corn comes out stuck together. The sugar scorches even when you turn off the heat right after you put it in. The design is ridiculous; in order to clean the popper, you have to use a screwdriver to remove the handle. (and if you make kettle corn, trust me, you'll have to clean the popper.) You'll be better off buying microwave kettle corn.
