Do the maintenance before you report it as broken!

I purchased my Mini-Plus in August of last year and just love it! Today it decided to not deliver my second cup of coffee so I went to the Keurig website and viewed the videos of how to clean the needles and K-Cup pack holder and descale it.

First I cleaned the needles and it now works like it is supposed to. After I get a bottle of vinegar, I will descale it just because I've had it nine months and it's probably time to.

Quite a few people have reported that their Keurig brewer quit working after a short while and while they were pleasantly surprised at Keurig's wonderful customer service, their brewer probably wasn't broken; just needed some maintenance.

My daughter can only have decaf now, so it is much easier to fix one cup, any time, rather than to wait for us to finish our high octane leaded coffee. Great addition to the household.

Hubby always got the coffeepot ready at night for my morning cuppa. Then the clean-up in the morning and while I brewed mine at 5 a.m., he got his around 9 a.m. I bought the Keurig Mini which came with some coffee pods and absolutelly love this idea of one cup at a time. I also bought the Solofill extra filter to use my own coffee (cheaper and easier). This filter does not need a holder, but fits right in the Keurig one. Compared to the Keurig extra filter it's a lot easier to use...you don't need to lift out the Keurig filter holder as you do with the Keurig one which comes in 3 pieces. I've used my Farberware percolator for years, but I'll still use it for company when I need more than one cup. And with BB&B's 20% off coupon, I couldn't find it any cheaper. Don't put off buying it...you won't be sorry!!!
