We purchased this set for my parents for Christmas 2012. We had a picture of them from the summer that we used for the big picture, and then we added pictures of each of their children and their respective families to the other frames. We didn't use the mats for this project but did leave them in the frames. My parents LOVED it! The frames are good quality, and it's so nice that they can be used in either portrait or landscape. The frames are so much more usable this way. My husband and father installed it on the wall with little issue, though I think they may have needed to replace one of the screws that wasn't quite long enough for some reason. My parents were really pleased, and we were really pleased to have found such a wonderful gift to give.

Nice little statement piece to a room

I love the versatility of the frames to convert vertical or horizontal. This frame set looks best on a wall all to itself. As per my husband, he suggest not using the paper template when leveling and measuring where you will be hanging. Pretty easy to assemble too. Make sure you know how to use a proper level. Any mistake will be noticed with this piece so be careful when marking and drilling holes. My only complaint is the metal backs that connect each frame, did not all come straight. So some of my frames are leaning forward and don't appear "hanging" like I expected. Still happy with my purchase.

I purchased this and I am so glad I did. It looks very nice over top of my sofa. You do need a big wall space but if you have the room for it I would definitely say to buy one. I am very happy with it and the price wasn't bad either.
