This rice steamer is great and completely worth the price! I've had less expensive rice steamers before and they are a pain (burning, drying out, undercooking, etc). If you love rice, this is worth the price. The fuzzy logic technology means that it always cooks perfectly with no effort on my part. I'm a doctoral student so I'm gone for long days. Before I leave in the morning I throw in the rice and add water to the appropriate line on the inside, and it cooks until its done. Then, it automatically keeps it warm and perfectly cooked for twelve-fourteen hours until I get home! Its so great to come in to dinner. I just throw chicken or veggies in a pan and have supper ready in 5-10 minutes. I also steam veggies in it a lot (Kale, asparagus, green beans, etc) and they come out great! I completely recommend this over other, less expensive models. Also the BB&B shipping was fast and free! Arrived well insulated and quickly. Enjoy :)

I love this product beyond words. It may be a little pricy but the quality speaks for itself. Rice is perfectly cooked, something I am very particular about. The thing I learn about this product, you do not have to wait for the time it automatically sets itself into depending on what you're cooking. White rice sets to 60 minutes, but it was just as perfect around 30-35 minutes. It is very modern and would highly recommend to those who wants their food perfectly made.

Fuzzy cookers

I purchased one of these rice cookers, with a fuzzy logic board. It contains a battery, not replaceable by the consumer. The battery will last about 3 years, which means it will have to be replaced. Although I like cookers with programs, in my opinion the price is too high for something that needs repair after 3 years. I am thinking of purchasing just a simple rice cooker that will cook/steam rice and vegetables.
