I found the plastic hose a little stiff and hard to get to the bottom of the space but all in all it worked well.

I would give this minus 5 if I could!!! I would say it sucked if it did...but it didn't. The pieces didn't even fit together.

I was very skeptical of this product especially since the reviews were not very high, i usually don't buy things with low reviews. I was desperate though to find something that could get the lint out of my dryer, i tried my own vacuum hose with a tiny tip but the end of my hose kept getting in the way and not letting me get all the way down my vent trap. I went to the store and was like alright i have no other option.
I took it out of the box and first thing i noticed was the hose is VERY stiff, i am decently young women and it took me a tough time to bend it as i wanted it.
It attached to my vacuum just fine, as i begin to stick it down the internal lint trap it was a bit of a challenge getting it down because its a stiff piece of hose but once i got it working man did it suck up the lint!! i was like ya ya! i was actually excited about it because it did what i needed it to do. I have a stack-able washer and dryer so my dryer is at eye level and the back of the dryer is the drum with all these little holes for more lint, i was like man its not going to get that lint because the hose is so fat, so i took off the hose and just the suction end did its job! I was really impressed.
This product actually works really good, the only problem is the stiff clear hose, i mean you could always go to home depot and get the softer hose they sale, just match the end up...i wont use this product often so spending $10 wasn't a huge disappointment, you can def make it work to your advantage with some elbow grease and thinking outside the box, i would recommend this product!

Bought Lint Lizard today and was really disappointed. Hose is too fat and not very flexible and very hard to use. Just curled up when inserting in dryer vent and wouldn't fit under the refrigerator, dryer or washer. I tried to heat up hose to uncurl it, but that didn't work.

Hose not flexible...terrible shape...used a shop vac, but still couldn't remove most of the lint without taking the dryer apart. Will be returning item tomorrow.

Disappointing

I bought this as it was highly recommended by Good Housekeeping. I cannot get the "kink" out enough for it to fit in the lint cavity of my dryer. And, as the "exhaust" for the dryer is on the roof, it takes a total different apparatus to clear the vent and the pipe.

Lint Lizard

worked well with my hoover wind tunnel, and top filter dryer. Had to dump my vacuum chamber three times the first time I used it, twice the second time. works well with dry lint, but at my sons house, his lint seemed damp, and the lizard didn't suck as it should. it worked great in my son's inside the door lint trap as well. Just wondering if the poor reviews are from people who don't read the instructions, or if their systems are just so clogged that they are in serious risk of a fire and need to call a professional to replace their hose and clean their dryer first, then use Lizard as a maintenance tool.

I purchased this even though some of the reviews were not the best. This does all it is suppose to do. Some complaints were that the hose was too stiff but you need it to be stiff to get to the areas to clean. Once you smash the tip to get into the place of lint then the rest is a breeze!!! The first time I used it my canister on my shark vacuum was full. Now my dryer is working so much better with less dry time. Best $$ I've spent in a long time!!

I'm not too impressed with this product. It doesn't fix very well on my vacuum cleaner. The suction is not that good.

I could not believe how useless it was

I had great expectaions, but they were quickly dashed. I inserted the inflexibe, large hose into the lint trap of the standard Kenmore dryer, and although it seemed to be in the trap, it removed no lint at all. I could get more out with one of those stiff brushes on a wand.. Sure, it cleans up lint on the floor next to the dryer, but then, my vacuum hose can do that. I then dragged my vacuum outside with two extension cords to try to do the external vent as they show on the carton - no luck, not one piece of lint was removed, although i can stick my hand in and remove lint.. I then tried to clean under the refigerator as they showed in the ad, and guess what , it did not even come close to fitting in that space. I am normailly an enthusisatic reviewer and am very unhappy with this product, which did nothing it said it would.

Lint Lizard™ Lint Trap Cleaning Tool

The hose is too stiff and, perhaps, should be replaced with more flexible and longer one. LL/LT tool helped me out when I used it from the back of the dryer and for the pipe that goes through the wall of the house. i wouldn't recommend using it from the front of the dryer (where the lint filter is). It can shift the drum inadvertently.

Totally Worth My Money

After moving into a new apartment, I was unhappy to discover that the area behind the lint trap in the older gas dryer hadn't been cleaned in years. I saw the Lint Lizard and thought, "What the heck, why not."
Totally worth my money. After 15 min. I emptied the vacuum canister two times and had a nearly lint free dryer. I didn't even see most of the lint leaving the dryer!
The clear hose was fairly stiff, but easy to maneuver. I really wished there were a brush of some sort included, and ended up using the brush attachment from my vacuum to clear the mesh area behind where the trap sits. Since the trap doesn't fit snugly, I'm confident I'll get plenty of use out of this purchase!

I like the fact that i was able to remove a huge amount of lint from my dryer . This would be a much better product if the plastic piece was thinner and easier to bend.
