After sleeping on Aerobeds for the last ten years, and having to replace them every year for one malfunction or another and newer models becoming more bulky and less comfortable, I decided to try the ON SALE Therapedic to compare. Other reviews, for the most part, didn't like it. I bought it anyway to use when my Aerobed died. TRUTHFULLY -after reading instructions and making sure the plug was in right, the Therapedic inflated EASIER, adjusted EASIER, and was more comfortable compaired to the 2012 Aerobed. Therapedic gets an extra star for keeping it simple. Aerobed would be better if they went back to their original design.

I purchased this twin mattress from BB& Beyond, and have been very happy with it thus far. First, a friend used it, and slept marvelously. Then, I took it on a two night trip, but added a Memory Foam mattress pad (purchased at BB& B as well) to use with it, and it was very comfortable. It did not deflate hardly at all, just a tad. I left the bed blown up at my future home, and will see if it deflated when I return to it after being away a week. I did realize that if I did not tighten the release, the air would escape.

My wife bought this and I set it up for a single sleeper that same night - it had a slow leak and was flat by morning. Next day I checked for obvious leaks and made sure that the two-part air valve was firmly and securely closed. Still went nearly flat over a single night. Brought it back for an exchange. Same exact issue with second mattress. I don't think we'll bother with another exchange - we'll just get out money back.
It's a shame - we've been happy customers of BB&B and Therapedic, but this has really soured us on both businesses. Given that this product is on sale *and* has a big mftr's rebate, it is hard to dismiss the possibility that someone is making a very cynical attempt to move bad inventory.
