I am trying to eat more healthy. I have made several smoothies with the single serve blender and have been very happy with this purchase! I wish that it was possible to put in the freezer if only for a few minutes but I usually make the smoothie the night before and place in the refrigerator. I have limited counter space so this is so handy!

Great Little Blender, Tolerable Faults

Overall, this blender is a great purchase for the money! It comes with two single-serving blender cups, so that's a nice bonus. It generally chops well, but don't expect perfection every time, especially if you completely fill the cup with ingredients. The tops that come with the cups are easy to drink out of directly, but don't actually prevent liquid from escaping when they're closed if the cup is tipped or turned upside-down. It would be nice if the product came with a lid that doesn't have an opening built in.

Great item. Use it every morning for my breakfast drink. I found putting crushed ice in with the drink works very well. Makes great milk shakes. You won't be disappointed with this if you purchase.

I truly love my Hamilton Beach personal blenders. Yes, blenders. I purchased one for office use and was so impressed with it that I bought one for home use. It handles the ice in my daily lunch shake better than the Ninja blender I'd previously purchased for home use. Kudos to Hamilton Beach.

I needed a blender with smaller cups to make shakes and smoothies. Since I drink more than one a day, I got tired of having to clean my big blender every time. Having the two blender cups is a great convenience. Can wash them both at the end of the day. Also very convenient as you can blend and go. A few negative issues. One is that while blending some of the liquid comes up through the lid even when on tight and makes a mess. It doesn't always break down the ice or frozen fruit easily if you have much liquid. Also, you can't use hot liquids. My diet shakes can be made into cocoa, but I can't use these blenders for it.

This blender is so easy to use. Everything can be done in the blender turned cup. I use frozen fruit and chop ice and it's great. The only clean up is in the cup when you're finished!

Best Smoothie Blender

I LOVE this personal blender. I tried two regular sized blenders before this one and this one beat them by a mile. I only use it for smoothies so I can't comment on any other uses, sorry. But for ice based smoothies it's perfect. It pulverizes the ice in under a minute and mix-ins are a breeze. And it's so convenient that it fits in your cupholder! I've been using it every morning for 3 months straight and sometimes twice in a day w/no complaints. Oh, and the best part? Dishwasher safe! Now if only I could find a regular sized blender that was this fabulous...
