I hunted for a long time for an affordable bed ensemble. I did not want to spend this much but having purchased one @ another store and retuning it for poor quality workmanship made me up my $$$ limit. So glad I did. The quality is excellent. It just makes you want to curl up in it on a cool night. The fact that it is machine washable is an added plus.

Not good to wash

When I first opened the comforter I thought it was great. Then I followed the directions to wash it before I put it on my bed and the insides were all hard and misshapen when it was done being dried. Maybe dry clean only would make it keep it's shape.

Beautiful, but . . .

I had been looking for a comforter for a very long time. This one met my basic requirements of being pretty, machine washable, and with machine washable accessories (I have two kids and a dog- come on, dry clean only or "spot clean" accessory pillows aren't going to cut it).

Initially I loved this comforter, and it looks really beautiful on my bed. Again, I love that the matching throw pillows have removeable covers for easy washing. However, after having this comforter for a little more than a month, without having washed it, been rough with it, etc. etc., some of the decorative stitching has come loose in two spots. If that hadn't happened, and the quality was just a little bit better, I would give it five stars. It's very comfy and very pretty! I still would recommend this comforter.

For a while I had been looking for nice comfortable set for my master bedroom until now. This set exceeded my expectations. Although I paid full price for it, it is worth every penny. Astetically it looks amazing with the fine quality work of the stitching in the throw pillows and color of the set itself. The feel? Ahhh your body just melts in it, you can never go wrong with 100% cotton. Occasionally when I buy comfortable sets I purchase sheets seperately, this time I decided to buy the matching set. Yeah the sheet set cost $79 but all worth it. I highly recommend this set...

I purchased this set for the master bedroom of our newly built home that we'll be moving into in a few months. Therefore, this review is not based on actual use but rather the look and feel of the product upon receiving it. The colors and embroidery detail are beautiful and the comforter seems to be good quality. The "duck egg blue" accent is more of a greenishblue/grey than the blueish/grey that it looks like in the picture. The combination of colors makes it very versitile for color schemes. I plan to paint my room a tone of grey/blue that I think will look wonderful with it.
