I have used the Real Simple Slimline Hangers for quite some time, they are great. I purchased a box of 50 Shirt & Blouse hangers thinking they would be the same quality, I sure was wrong. The metal part comes apart from the rest of the hanger after little use, no stars for this item! Just figured out I need to put at least 1 star, ignore it.

I wish I saw these review first, I purchased in a BBB store.

I purchased a box of these hangers several months ago and only wish they were cheaper. I love them. My goal is to change out every hanger in the house to this slim option. My shirts don't slide off the hangers, I can hang all my tanks together and organize all my colors. Def cannot use them for heavy coats, etc. . . But for all else I will be using these hangers. BB&B seems to be the only one to carry these with the cascading clip built in. Even Slimline sells them separately. Sweet purchase, just think they should be a tad lower.

I've never posted a review anywhere, until now. These are the worst hangers ever. Infact, the only reason I'm on the BBB website right now is to figure out how to get my money back, I've already thrown away the box and almost all of the hangers have broken. The only thing you can hang on these, might be lingerie, and quite frankly, I bet they'd still break.

When I first saw these hangers, I purchased 2-3 boxes at a time, again and again until I converted my entire home with them, including my large dressing room that my husband constructed for me. At first a couple hangers broke. I threw them away. And then they started to break in multiples. I contacted the District Manager (located in CT, I live in NY). She told me that I was the only person who had complained about the hangers. She asked me to bring some of the broken hangers for her to see. She made it seem like I was not using them correctly. After speaking with her on the phone several more times and personally meeting me 2 more times to replace some of the hangers, I have given up. Between myself, my husband, my son, and our housekeeper we are constantly throwing hangers out. Just this past week we had to throw out 11 hangers between all of us. That adds up quickly. Needless to say, I need more hangers, not sure what to do at this point. The manager also told me that she contacted Real Simple directly and again claimed that they have received no other complaints except my repetitive ones. Do not buy these hangers unless you have time to throw away driving back to store numerous times like myself or want to throw your money away.

I've been very pleased with hangers similar to these from other stores. I was disappointed with these hangers as soon as I started using them. A couple broke within a few days. I am still using what is left of them. I was hoping for better quality. I wish I would have read other reviews on these before purchasing them!

I generally only write reviews on products if they are exceptionally good or exceptionally bad. In this case this product is exceptionally bad. After buying a new wardrobe I wanted a reliable hanger and this product just isn’t it. The hangers are VERY fragile as other reviews alluded to. The hanger overall looks nice but that’s where the quality ends. Where the plastic neck meets the metal it’s super thin and must be handled with extreme care. Don’t bother trying to steam your clothing on these hangers. Actually if your clothing makes it to your closet and you actually get it to hang without breaking, don’t move it as the handle will most likely brake. Think of these as fancy disposable hangers. Actually the first red flag was when I opened the package 4 of them were already broken. I don’t blame BBB for selling this item but they should know this product is really that bad. I’ll be returning these tomorrow. For those that feel these are good hangers you will see these on clearance soon. Cheers

I bought a box of the hangers and liked them so much that I bought a second box. I haven't had any problems mentioned by other consumers on this site. They work very well and save so much space. We have a house built in 1965 with small closets so these are a must. If you have had problems with the top part of the hangers as you said I hope you took them back!

My husband and I recently got married. So with the gift cards we got to Bed Bath & Beyond we bought these hangers. At first I thought it was great because the velvet material will hold the clothe better. I was so wrong. We bought 100 of these hangers and every single one broke. The top is very weak. The weight of 1 shirt is too much for this hanger. Don't waste your money or a gift card on this.
