Good machine /Esspresso pods NOT available

Bought this machine for making espresso , this is a pretty no fuss machine that makes a good espresso drink . my problem has been over the last 2yrs is finding the espresso pods .
Bed bath and beyond in my area is ALWAYS OUT ! i used to find them at Target , but they are no longer going to carry these pods for the CBTL.
I have asked BBB in my area to please stock more of this item , talking to the manager and a person from the CBTL company both have done no good .
I have stopped using my machine ,
got out my old reg coffee maker and went back to drinking reg coffee because i got tired of running all over trying to find the espresso pods .
Iam told it is a "manufacturing problem ", you would think after this long something would have been done to resolve this problem .
I was at BBB a few weeks ago , checked the CBTL pods again NO ESPRESSO pods except the DECAFE were available . too bad it does make good espresso IF you can get the pods!! back to drinking regular coffee for now, until i can afford to buy a espresso machine that does not use pods !

BEST Single Serve Coffee Maker!!

I, for one, am one of those people that reads reviews so I know how important it is when coming to a decision on something, especially a coffee maker lol. I couldn't be more pleased with the CBTL coffee maker!! I absolutely LOVE it and the tastes of all of the coffees I have tried so far. I have had a Tassimo and a Keurig and will NEVER go back after trying the CBTL!! It is so high tech compared to my last single serve coffee maker and I love all the choices in sizes of coffee too! Not to mention the huge selection of delicious coffees to choose from as well. If you are thinking of buying a new single serve coffee maker, look no further. You have found "the one"!!

Tastes better than the 3 Keurigs I've been through

The first single-cup brewer I ever owned was the Philips Senseo- and I felt it made great coffee except for the fact that the pods and brewer could be a little messy. Keurig seemed a dream come true- zero cleanup!
Yeah well that dream died with three machines that died on me. Thank goodness for a certain warehouse store's excellent return policy.
Enter Bed, Bath & Beyond and CBTL- and a rebate that made the machine irresistible to try. So far I've been stunned at just how good the coffee tastes from the CBTL Americano machine! It has what I liked about the Senseo (better tasting coffee through pressurized brewing) and the tidy clean-up of the Keurig. Now all that's left to find out is how long the machine lasts.
If it proves reliable- then CBTL has a winner that they need to market better. That's the one thing I believe is hurting these machines- there's no marketing muscle behind them. Everyone knows a Keurig when they see it- but at my 2013 New Years Eve party- no one had heard or seen of the CBTL machine, and everyone liked it. You can vary the size and type of capsule to achieve the taste you prefer. The fact that the system uses pressure- I believe most coffee drinkers will find something to like about this system. If you like espresso- and don't want another machine clogging up your counter- you have two reasons to try this system. I put my espresso machine in a box in the garage and gained a lot of counter space back- bonus!
Bear in mind that the CBTL capsules are a little bit more expensive- but occasionally they are discounts, and there' s also BB&B's famous 20% coupons!
PS: there's no "do it yourself" capsule yet either- so you can't use your own ground coffee. Hopefully some entrepreneur will remedy this soon.

My husband had been asking for a Keurig, and I had read some pretty shady reviews over the past month. I stumbled across the CBTL on BBB's website and through BBB and Amazon found great reviews. The coffee, tea and espressos are all superior flavour and we love the option of choosing several cup sizes, even travel mug. It's great that the drip tray is adjustable to accomodate your cup size. The only reason I gave the review 4, not 5 stars is that you have to use the specific CBTL pods in the machine, which are really only available through BBB, the CBTL website and Amazon. It would be wonderful if the company manufactured a reusable Eco-Cup like Keurig does so that we could use our own coffees as well.

I'm a kitchen gadget junkie and I picked this up for a good deal. I'm not an espresso expert by any stretch but wanted to try making my own espresso shots and mochas. The machine is easy to use. my first shot had a nice crema.
Pros:
small profile.
stylish- i like this wine tone red.
Cons:
The lever is clunky and bit difficult to pull. I would be careful with it so that it doesn't break. My keurig handle is a sturdy stainless steel in comparison
It's louder but not unbearable. probably due to the pressure needed to make a shot of espresso. But even priming and starting was quite loud especially in comparison to my Keurig B155.
It drips for quite a while after the drink is dispensed. the keurig shoots out a little air to clear the spout. the dripping is a minor annoyance but worth mentioning. I do like the adjustable height on the drip tray which is something keurig doesn't have.
Overall, I think I will use this when I want to make espresso. I had a regular espresso machine in the past and it was used once but it was too much fuss measuring out espresso, tamping, and cleaning the machine that I sold it. This CBTL makes espresso an easy task for a convenience girl like myself.
I have my workhorse home/pro keurig for my day to day coffee. The k cups are a little cheaper especially with coupons etc and are available pretty much everywhere. Although CBTL capsules are available at BBB and other retailers like Target.

Excellent capsule coffee/espresso machine

Purchased this for my mom, along with an assortment of espresso/coffee cartridges. Better coffee than a keurig, I even like the Kona (normally I don't like light blends.) the Italian blend is my fav of the espresso cartridges, reminds me more of a sweet/dark lavazza espresso (I like cartridge machines, have a nespresso and lavazza.) The decaf espresso is excellent, very good on a long shot. You can click the brew button again to stop it on coffee shots to 'shorten' the shot - I prefer 5-6 oz on my coffee. You have to wait until it gets to the amt you want. Only negative is the arm to puncture the cartridge feels flimsy - not sure how well it's going to last over time. And cost wise, with coupons, you're getting better coffee AND WAY bettter espresso, for less than k-cups. YAY! Mom LOVES it.

I love love love coffee. I buy whole beans, freeze them when storing, grind right before brewing... At work I don't have time to go through all that elaborate nonsense. I have a CBTL machine for work and it is amazing. Tasty, strength adjustable for all those wimps at the office who can't stand a strong brew, and it makes tea and hot cocoa. Oh and they have these great vanilla and chocolate flavor packs that you can add to your coffee when you're feeling down or when you deserve a special treat. Perfect if you are on the go-go... Better than The K competitor BTW; tried the K and was not impressed with the flavor overall, ESP after having an espresso machine at home. CBTL tasted more like the real thing.

First, this is more of a red wine color. sharp but not a standard red. Makes excellent coffee, espresso, and teas with option to adjust cup size.
If you like pod systems this is the best tasting yet you must be willing to put up with a the loudness of the pressure being used to make that great cup!

Love My CBTL!

Chose CBTL at Chrismas, and am very glad I did.
CBTL comes with 15 or so varieties, which comprises a nice selection of Strength and Flavor. This may not seem like a lot compared to others, however CBTL's quality is Exceptional! After two months and several cups a day, I am not bored with the choices. I like the Bold/Rich varieties the best (French is superb, Viennese has great flavor, Italian Esspresso is a real waker-upper!). While I like a strong black cup of coffee, I am still satisfied by their "lighter" varieties... again, great quality. I've tried them all and would go back to them all. My wife loves the flavored coffees (French Vanilla and Butterscoth) & the teas (particularly the Passion tea).
Our only complaint is the color and placement of the reservoir. It's a smokey dark color, which looks good, but its hard to see the water level. You have to reach behind or turn the machine to fill it. This is a small complaint as the machine is light, and we usually fill it up first thing in the AM and are ready to go.
Other plusses: 1) the capsules are about 1/2 the size of the competitor cups so they take up less space; 2) the "brew" is awesome. It puts a 1/4" creamy head on the coffee, so you feel like you are getting an international treat; 3) in addition to BBB we've found the capsules at another popular retailer, so refills are easy to get; 4) we have the Red machine which looks great and really "pops" on the counter top.
I strongly recommend this machine to fellow coffee lovers.

After several weeks of research I decided to purchase this machine over the K machines. Setup and operation are super easy, brews a great cup of coffee or tea. The only fault so far is a lack of choice hopefully more variety will show up on market.
