I bought one and then another one as a gift for my daughter. I use mine at home...my daughter uses hers at her work for her kitchen crew. They love having a cold drink in a hot kitchen. And it's plastic too!..no worry about breakage.

I bought this item as a Christmas present for my daughter. I can't tell you how well it works yet because she hasn't used it. However, I will tell you (like others in their reviews have) to check the lid for cracks. Based on these reviews I had the sales clerk open the item and we inspected it before I paid for it and sure enough - the lid was cracked. So beware.
On a positive note, I loved how I coould order the item online and have it delivered free of charge to my nearest Bed, Bath & Beyond and, of course, I used my coupon.

I purchased one of these three years ago, and I have found it is very helpful with entertaining. I particularly like the feature that keeps the ice from diluting the beverage. Over time, products such as CrystalLite will leave a residue. However, since that is what I use if for, that is a non-problem for me. Still, it's great, especially with children around, as they can serve themselves. If disaster strikes and it gets knocked over, I don't have to worry about broken glass (excellent feature for around the pool area). I may buy an additional one.. I had no problem with drips, etc.

I bought two of these yesterday. Conincidentally,
I attended a funeral this morning. The reception after the cermony had 3 of these: lemonade, iced
tea and water. One was leaking so badly that it drenced the pretty tablecloth it was on and was spilling over onto the floor. I returned mine this afternoon and ordered two glass ones online.

I read other reviews but decided to buy this prouct anyway. I opened it upon arrival and right away noticed the top lid was all cracked. I returned it and when asked If i wanted a replacemnet, I said no, I already purchased oen somewhere else.

Be Careful

I love this dispenser. It looks great and works perfect. However, be careful with citrus drinks. I put lemonade in it with a few sliced oranges. The citrus acid ate away at the finish on the container. Now it looks like someone took sandpaper and scratched the inside of the container. The directions say not to keep citrus drinks in the dispenser overnight, but I never thought this would happen. My dispenser is basically ruined since I use it for entertaining. If you are planning on using it with citrus drinks, be careful!!

I was disappointed in this item TWICE. The first time, there were noticeable scratches on the dispenser body fresh out of the box, so I took it back immeidately to exchange. The second one had a steady leak that would not stop after I had already set it up for a party. The cooling feature is a great idea, but did not noticeably cool the beverage. Very disappointed and now I have to take it back AGAIN. This time for a completely different brand.

This beverage dispenser is the BEST. Most glass dispensers leak around the spout. This one does not. I have tried several glass containers (with plastic spouts) and they all leak. You can display fruit or flowers under the bottom stand or put fruit or flowers in the middle cylinder for pretty displays. Great for Citrus water in the summer. Great buy!!
