I've been wanting one of these for some time so when I finally bought one I was pretty excited. The toaster itself looks good, but performs poorly. When it was working it took twice down to toast the dogs and rolls at high setting. Now it only toasts half the dog so I'm in the process of returning it for replacement. Hope the new one works like it should. I contacted the company and they said I have to return it to the place I bought it. Since it was online not sure if I can take it to the store instead.

My kids LOVE this. No more trying to convince them to let me boil or nuke the hotdogs before they eat them. They ate hotdogs for breakfast, lunch, and dinner the first 2 days after receiving the toaster. There are 5 settings, so you can choose how plump you want them to turn out, and they toast better after the first time so you may want to run it once empty before cooking them so it will heat up first.

I purchased this as a gift for my hot dog loving husband! SCORE!!!! He loves it and says the dogs taste like they're "just off the grill" I love it because the house no longer smells "hot doggy" from him nuking his hot dogs!!! Toasted buns...he loves this darn thing. And it is a nice looking appliance. I've had guests say what a neat toaster........when I tell them what it is they are usually astonished. Three of my friends have purchased these since seeing the one I bought for my hubby!
This is a GREAT gift if you have a Hot Dog Lover in your life!!

The toaster did not cook the hotdogs thouroughly and didn't toast the buns...just made them dry and stale tasting. Even though I purchased the thinnest hot dogs I could find, they swelled up after cooking and had to be pulled out of the unit in pcs..

I TOTALLY love hotdogs. this product was made for me. amazing thing is my ex-wife, old girlfriend and current girlfriend ALL gave me one for my birthday (no, they did not plan it... they just know this man likes his DOGS!!!) .I have been hot doggin' it up ever since. Its really easy to carry them from room to room also.My woman even fixed me up a lil tray with the cooker, cathup and mustard bottles. i can carry it out to my shop, the deck or anywhere! (one time i took it to the bathroom while shaving,,, dont worry i was careful).
My only disappointment is its kinda messy when you try to stuff in those extra large sausage type of dogs... but clean up isnt too bad (do NOT try to pry stuck large sized dogs out with a fork or screwdriver... unless you unplug it first. trust me.
anyway if someone buys me another two or three for cristmas i would not be unhappy. i LOVE dogs that much (it would be cool as if I could wire one up to work in my F150... anyonoe out there got some ideas?
