Whether your recipe calls for 30-minutes of quick heat or an all-day cooking session, the Crock-Pot® Slow Cooker with Countdown Digital Timer and Little dipper Warmer has it under control. Customize your cooking time and temperature by setting the timer anywhere between 30-minute and 20-hour on the High, Low, or Warm settings. Digital timer counts down the remaining time so you can coordinate side dish preparation and have a complete meal ready when you are. If you're not around when time runs out, this countdown expert will automatically shift to Warm, maintaining temperature and flavor. Digital timer counts up the time that it has been operating on Warm for up to 6-hours. 6-quart stoneware is removable and can go from countertop to tabletop. Stylish, smudge-proof finish. 16-ounce Little Dipper Warmer is included to keep dips and sauces warm while serving. Oval stoneware and glass lid are dishwasher safe. 3 year warranty.

Works great, great product, great price. Very satisfied, highly recommend. We lost everything during Hurricane Sandy and this was one of our first purchases. We had a Hamilton Beach crockpot, this is much better!!!! <3

After dropping my old "Crock-Pot", I decided to spring for a new one. The one with the little dipper looked great.I love dips too. BUT, this one gets crazy hot. Way to hot to be useful unless you want to watch your food cook. I put it on hot, came back in a while, BOILING hot, I put it on low, still boiling pretty fiercely. So I tried it on warm, it will still boil! I can't do up something in the morning and have it ready to go whenever it the afternoon. This will cook anything dry! I would say its a fire hazard and shouldn't be called a crock pot.
After further research, it turns out the government changed the rules: They decided to raise the temperature of all settings by 20-40º on all new pots in the last 5 years. The high setting is now close to 300º! The low temp is around 250º and even the warm setting is over 212º. I know this because that is the temperature water boils. Before the low temp was under 200º, probably closer to 180º.
There are only 3 settings: warm, low and hot and there is no way to adjust. They changed the actual temperatures but not the words describing the temp and they definitely did not give notice of the temperature increase.
Total waste of time. And my kid broke my little dipper before I even used it. My girlfriend got me another one, and it gets too hot also.
This was a total waste of money. VERY, VERY disappointed.
Go buy a roaster with adjustable settings.

I got this crock pot and use it at least once a week. Probably more over the winter months. I think this pot gets way too hot. It has burned some braises and other casseroles i have made. I cook everything on the lowest setting and is always done cooking about an hour or sometimes 2 before the recipe calls for. Which can be good sometimes but usually the meat ends up tough (especially chicken). That said, for the price. I think its an ok slow cooker. I dont think its designed to last also. Americas Test Kitchen highly recommends the touch screen slow cooker by the same company. Its slightly more in price but they have never steered me wrong.

This was given to my fiance' and I off of our registry. We are extremely disappointed for choosing this particular design. As other customers have said, it stays hot. We have only used it twice and both times the liquid was still bubbling even on the warm function. It also gets very hot to the touch. It gets so hot I am scared to cook anything in it where I can not supervise it. In addition, one of the rubber feet on the bottom had fallen off before we even took it out of the box. I managed to replace it, only for it to fall off at some other time. So, now we have a crooked crock pot that leans to one side, over cooks food, and can't be touched while in operation. I expected more from such a well respected company.

I recieved this crockpot as a gift....I cant stand it...it cooks way to hot. I cooked a normal slow cooker dish and it burned to the pot. It is difficult to clean. Also, I just made a chili and left it on warm and my chili is boiling...on WARM!! I had a cheap crokpot knockoff from walmart for about 20 bucks 5 years ago and it was the best pot ever...Now I wish i didnt throw that one away!

Just purchased from BBY. Used for first time. Checked screw on handle before using. Completed cooking. Upon cleaning the glass cover, the plastic handle separated. Upon examination, the glass cover had 2 holes, and the plastic handle had a single hole, single screw. Cover was clearly designed for a 2 hole, 2 screw handle. As a result, during cooking, the heated moisture passed through the empty hole, and inside the handle. This loosened the one screw and caused the handle to separate.

I cannot say enough about how great this Crock-Pot is! It was given to me as a wedding present, and I used it the very day after I received it. It is huge which is nice for making stews and roasts, and the stoneware pot comes out which makes cleaning a cinch. I foresee using this for many years and great meals to come!

we got this as a shower gift from my nana 4 yrs ago & her passing away was the only reason i hadn't returned it sooner (sentimental value). after a few uses (the style we have had a plastic hinge attachment) so you could open the lid & it stayed upright. the screws/plastic hinge broke off from the lid after a few uses. then the plastic front handle (so fingers can go under) to open the front of the lid also broke free of the screws. it actually came apart in my sink while hand washing & luckily i found the screws/plastic pieces before they washed into my disposal. after further inspection the top handle is coming free from the lid. if that happens i can't use the lid & this thing is useless! having a military spouse it wasn't used for over 20 months in 4 yrs (too much food for 1 person) so this hasn't been over-used. i do like it with the exception of all the plastic handles breaking off the lid. i can't imagine how this is dishwasher safe.

I got this as a wedding gift (3 years ago) and we have replaced it once already. I LOVE this crockpot and have no complaints about how it cooks. However it has cracked twice already, a hairline crack across the entire middle both times. The first one leaked and that's how we found it even existed the crack is so small. As we celebrate our 3 year anniversary we are already on our 3rd crockpot. Such a bummer!

Love this crock pot, especially the digital timer and keep-warm feature. One thing is misleading. In the BB&B info on the crockpot, at the end, it says it has a 3 year warranty. That is incorrect. You won't find this out until you purchase it and closely read the info that comes with the crockpot. It is only 1 year. The 3 year warranty is ONLY for the little pot that comes with it. Otherwise, it has the same warranty as most other slow-cookers. I do use this often and have had no trouble with it. I highly recommend it. Yes, the outside gets hot so keep your hands off the metal while it's cooking. You wouldn't grab a pot on the stove with your bare hands, so don't touch this one - place it far enough back on the counter so children can't reach it. Enjoy coming home to a perfectly cooked meal.

i just wanted to know if anyone else has had a problem with the outside-- stainless steel part being extremely hot to the touch. i just bought it and 1st time ever using a crock pot. Put the timer on for 4 hrs on high (cooking soup) and after 5 minutes the thing is impossible to touch. Wanted to know if this was normal or a defect ?

I've used it every day for the past week and it's done a great job. I especially like that it doesn't heat the kitchen up when the weather is already so hot. I haven't used the mini pot yet but, I plan to use it to make dip for tonight to go with chile verde that is currently cooking in the big one. Great deal, especially because I used my 20% off coupon when I bought it.

This is a really great crock-pot. Perfect size & the timer is wonderful! With my old crock-pot, I'd leave it on while I was at work, and if my work day went long, than my food would end up over done, so it's great that I can set the timer & go and once the time is up, it switches over to "keep warm," so my dinner is still hot when I get home!

I used my daughters and loved the timer. So when I was home from vacation I had to have one , even though my old crock pot was doing fine. I find I use this one much more because of the timer and able to have the temperature lowered while I am away or in the middle of the night. Absolutely love it.

I have only used this crockpot once; HOWEVER, it is easier to use than the $200 All-Clad one I purchased 4 years ago. The All-Clad one just stopped working (feel for that amount of $, it should have lasted longer); so I bought this one because it had a great warranty and was so much cheaper. This one also came with a dip warmer. Great bargain.
