I made sure of the return policy and kept the shipping box to return the Mint expecting it to be a gadget. I was pleasantly surprised at the job it does. I have used it for about a month with no problems.

I'm using the wet and dry Swiffer cloths but plan to try the included microfiber pads soon. The dusting action is straight up and down grid like movement. The unit has become stuck under the edge of the couch once, but otherwise has navigated my dining chairs/table, rugs, and curving hallway. I did learn to close the door to my carpeted areas because the Mint tries to enter and the front edge of the Swiffer gets on the carpet before it gets the signal to stop. If there's any lint on the Swiffer pad, it gets wiped off on the carpet when Mint backs away.

The mopping action is up and back and angles. It did a goos job in the bathrooms getting beside the toilets and under the kick plates at the sink counters.

The battery has been sufficient to dust the whole house (approx 2000 sq ft) and mop the two large bathrooms on one charge. It appears to charge rapidly with the included wall charger.

I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 because it seems to take a while and sometimes goes over the same area more than necessary. The price also effected my scoring.

I researched this little jewel for months before purchasing. I bought it to me from me for Christmas. I have four dogs (small but long hair) a cat and a parrot that throws stuff out of its cage....my little mint had me from Hello.....I liked it so much that I purchased another last month. I have over 2000 sq feet of hardwood flooring and let one mint sweep and come back with the other to mop It is amazing what it picks up daily. My house is now smell free and dust free......I do prefer the swiffer pads for sweeping as it seems to pick up more than the cloth. Do yourself a favor or a treat and buy..

I love this! I was shocked at the amount of hair that was on the pad, slightly embarrassed (I have 2 dogs and a cat). It’s fairly quiet so if you want to set it when you go to bed but my house is so small it doesn’t take that long to do a room (about 15 minutes). I prefer to block off my rooms so it does one room at a time but it will do my whole house at once. The reservoir for the wet mop isn’t very big so it can’t do large areas without running out of water/solution, so I usually just spray my floors. It’s great when you have company coming over, you can set the sweeper and run around to do other things!

I am pleased with the simplicity and ease of use of the Mint floor cleaner. While I am working on other chores the mint is cleaning the floors. I typically use it for the hardwood floors and in-between cleanings on the kitchen tile. Overall does a pretty good job. Still prefer the Shark on the ceramic tile but good for hardwwod. Would recomend it as one more way to save time on cleaning.

I have struggled to keep my beautiful hardwoods pretty. With three dogs it needs to be cleaned every day (sometimes twice a day) , so my sweet husband bought the Mint Plus for me for Christmas. We have used it every day since and the floors look great! We named it Rosie after the Jetson's robot maid and Rosie is my new best friend. Of course, she is not perfect, but overall she is FANTASTIC! The microfiber cloths for dry sweeping didn't work well for us because of the dog hair - so I use the disposable Swiffer dry pads & it works great. The microfiber wet cloths work GREAT (except that one in a package was too big and interfered with the navigation channel - if it's the right size, it works perfectly)! Can't say enough about my Rosie!

I have to say I love this little thing. don't get me wrong- it is not as good as an old fashion floor scrubbing or sweeping. the sweeping part works better than the wet floor scrubbing. I have been sick and unable to clean the floor so I ordered it online- easy to use, rechargeable, like a little friend cleaning my floor. (the cat likes it too). I use the swiffer dry sweep cloths and dispose of them. It does come with 4 re-usable cloths that work well too. For the wet scrubbing- I have the mint do it twice and it gets clean enough. I know it's a little pricey- but for me it was worth it.

I have trouble keeping my wood kitchen floor clean on a daily basis. The mint is great to run after I have cleaned the counters, done the dishes, etc. and am bored with kitchen work. It takes over and picks up daily crumbs, etc. However, if I have left the floors for a few days I need to do a general sweep before letting it loose. Since there is no vacuum, it can't handle big stuff.

I bought this on the recommendation of my brother. Oh my! It is the best cleaner! I can't stop using it. I've had it for 3 days and still can't stop! It cleans very well and keeps my 2 cats and small dog entertained while it cleans. I use vinegar and water in the reservoir and it works very well. If you can afford it, get one!!!

Bought myself the mint plus for Christmas.. Should have bought it a long time ago. While I washed down appliances and counters mint washed the kitchen floor. It got into and under places my regular mop never really got. I sprayed high traffic area with cleaner because floor hadn't been washed since . . . And with the wet cloth, it mopped and cleaned really well. Floor feels great, looks great, and now even with a busy schedule, kitchen and bathroom floors will be clean. Easy to use, exceptionally quiet - very satisfied. Treat yourself, you deserve it!!

A Must Have for high traffic floors

I have had my Mint PLUS for a week and I have used it every day on my Pergo kitchen floor. I have 4 cats and a Doberman. I contstantly battle cat fur, dog hair and dirty dog pawprints. We have had a lot of rain lately and my dog drags in muddy paws. I could go on about the amount of fith that my poor kitchen floor endures. I am too busy to sweep or vacuum and mop as often as I should.

The Mint PLUS is better that the Roomba vacuum and the Roomba wet washer which I have had in the past. The Mint dry sweep thoroughly covered every inch of my kitchen floor and collected every bit of fur and loose dirt. I did not believe the wet adaptor would clean a relly dirtly floor. WELL, it cleaned my floor which had not been mopped in a month and it worked as well as if I had mopped it with my own elbow grease. It even removed some stuck on dirt that I thought i would have to go over with a sponge. I like the cloths that come with it, 2 for dry and 2 for wet. I will purchase extras because I want to avoid buying disposable cloths to help the environment.

Now, I keep it charging in my kitchen outlet and I run it on the dry selection every day. Just hit go and leave for work. I have used it on the wet mop selection twice so far. I just set it on my way out the door and when I return the floor is clean.

Side Note: on the wet cyce, the wheels leave a visible trail through the damp floor as it is going around the room. When the floor dries you can see visible streaks where the wheel rolled through the wet floor. Anyway, when I mop by hand i get streaks too so it's no big deal.

I just got the Mint a week ago and I love this machine!! It works exactly like the description. I stayed up all night after it's 1st charge and watched it clean my 3100 sq/ft house and I am now wondering why I hadn't tried the Mint years ago!! I used the wet and dry swifter mop pads and it cleaned my floors 10x better then I ever did. Some of the others reviews are correct that it does require recharging but it gets the job done. If you can afford one buy it you wont regret it!!

I was a little dubious about whether the Mint Plus could do the job on my hard wood floors and bathroom title floors with fairly significant grout spaces. Well, it works beautifully. All that matters--when it's done, the floor looks great. Period.

Pretty easy to use. I use Bona hardwood floor wash on everything and it works just fine with the Mint.

I have an iRobot for vacuuming and the Mint for floor washing and they work well together.

The floor sweeping function of the Mint works fine--like a dry mop basically, but of course is not as comprehensive as the iRobot vacuum--nor is it meant to be.

Great product (now owned by the iRobot company by the way). Highly recommended.

This little guy is perfect for you if you don't have carpet or rugs. I have hard wood floors and I come home to clean apartment every day. It goes underneath furniture, never get stuck and keeps going. If I am home, I pick him up and clean the washing cloth a few times. I am veru happy with this cleaner, getting one for my mom.

Got by Mint Plus yesterday and I love it. We have hardwood floors and our lab sheds like crazy. We used it this morning and my wife and I was simply amazed. We used the sweep function with the Swiffer dry cloths and after two hours, our floors were spotless. It even went under all the couches and picked up all the hair. The reason I chose the Mint Plus over the regular mint is because the battery is supposed to last longer on the Mint Plus. My wife is ecstatic about this and hopefully it last a long time!
