Bold Great Flavor

Needless to say we were practically devastated when it went away. We quickly bought all we could find ... We are very satisfied with this flavor from Gevalia ... This is some great coffee!

I first had this when Wal-Mart sold it. I only was able to buy it two times there before they stopped carrying it. I really wish they still did! I like my coffee medium strong, but I like a big mug in the morning. One disc is not enough, but two is too much (and gets too pricey). But because this is so strong, I could run it through one and a half times and still have the strength I like (I usually stop it the second time just before it fills the mug, which is about halfway through the cycle). And the taste is great too, not bitter. I highly recommend this, and I buy it all the time with my online coupons now (still not as cheap as Wal-Mart, and I have to plan ahead, but it works).

Tassimo indeed comes through with 2 excellent Gevalia varieties to compensate for the loss of the Starbucks brand. The other is the Italian Blend ( subst for Cafe Verona). And cheaper too.

I've tasted many of the individually brewed coffees. If only Tassimo could do the great marketing job that Keurigg does! The Tassimo coffee tastes as close to Starbucks as you can get from home. Thankfully, BBB sells the discs online; they are so hard to find in stores in the variety offered here. Get to work, Tassimo! You have a great product: sell it!

I, too, was disappointed about Starbucks but lo and behold guess who is coming out with their own single server brewer that sure resembles our Tassimo. The coffee companies are trying and getting better but still nothing like Starbucks Verona for me. This one is not bad for a strong coffee lover. Still hoping for more choices.

So we bought this machine and need to settle for a "look alike" Starbucks. Why? Because Kraft Foods couldn't get their act together promoting Tassimo T Discs. This is why Starbucks left Kraft/Tassimo. It's like having a barbecue, but you can't just go down to your local food market to buy your beef. No, you have plan your BBQ weeks in advance and place an order with the ranchers in Wyoming. Up until recently, you couldn't find T-discs anywhere except BBB or on-line. Now you can sometimes go to your local food market and find Maxwell House coffee. If Maxwell house coffee was so great you would have restaurants promoting it. When was the last time you ate out and the restaurant proudly promoted "We serve Maxwell House Coffee"? I'll bet never. Just biding my time waiting for a better alternative.

I typically use my Tassimo for Espresso drinks only because the coffee just wasn't good. I'm a "coffee snob" and cold brew my regular coffee. Finally, Tassimo has a coffee that tastes excellent. A nice strong blend. Thank you! The Kona blend isn't bad, either but this one is definately the best.

Holy cow...I was going to trade in my Tassimo for a Keurig machine, then I found the t-discs on BBB. Can I tell you this saved me.

I was bored with the Maxwell House coffees. I got by. But wanted more. I had to add instant to get that bang. But found these and they are bold and dark roasted.

I have not been to Starbucks in months. The price and value for a good cup of coffee in these t-discs are worth every penny.

Disappointed when Tassimo and Starbucks had a falling out. This however is an excellent sub for the former Starbuck's House Blend T-discs. Dark Breakfast blend is also a good sub for Starbuck's counterpart.
