I read all of the reviews about this towel warmer (even on Amazon) and a lot of them said that it has a funny smell when you use it. I bought it anyway and I'm soooo glad that I did because there was NO SMELL, I was even waiting to smell something strange but never really did. My husband and I love having a warm towel to look forward to after a shower/ bath and its REALLY warm if you press the on button once, let it sit with the lid on til the red light turns off, then press the on button a second time. Just wish the towel could stay warm for longer once it is on your skin, guess that would be like an electric blanket.

we bought this, it works great. there are occasions where the towel is not as warm as before but its great. we have found if you just lay them in there it works best. dont pack them down in there. just drop in loosley. will buy another one for our guest bath for our sleep over peeps to enjoy!

For years I have wanted a heated towel when I left the shower. I like cold houses, except when I get out of the shower. In my previous home I would sometimes put a towel in the dryer, which was just outside the bathroom, and love the hot towel feel. However, it wasn't right in the bathroom. This one works well. The only odor I detected upon first use was the odor you get when you use a steamer, but nothing super noticeable. The towel is definitely warm, though I might like yet slightly hotter, it certainly warm enough to make getting out of shower much pleasanter. The only warning I would have is that you do have to plug it into an outlet. In my bathrooms the outlets are by the sink counters,which i think is fairly typical. it would be nice to have an outlet right in a wall, and perhaps I'll install one day. However, for now, I just hook it up before I get in the shower, and then unplug and push against a wall when it's not in use. It's light, so it's not a major production, but that really is the only inconvenience. While $90 seems a bit steep, for something that is going to make life better every day, to me it's worth it.

This is the greatest non-expensive indulgence I have ever had. So easy to use and my towel is toasty warm when I step out of the shower. The outside appearance fits well in the bath and blends in nicely. Am considering purchasing a second one to use on the patio for spa towels. Will heat 2 large bath sheets nicely!

If you have the room in your bathroom this is definitely an item to have.The unit works very well at heating my towels to that perfect luxury temperature.If you have someone special to share your bathroom with this is sure to make them smile after every shower or bath.Ive read reviews that complained of an odor and i found that wasnt the case when i purchased,just warm towel joy.

I looked at several warmers and reviews before I made this purchase. I am so glad that I purchased this one! Many people said there was a burn smell when it is turned on. This is true, but it seems to get better with each use. The warmer is much bigger than I thought! You could stuff several towels or a few towels and a robe, etc. It is the size of a smaller garbage can. Regarding the person who reviewed it and said her "on" button was finicky, I believe she probably does not have an issue. The directions stated that you must hit the "on" button twice to activate it. This is probably to ensure it was not hit accidentally. This warmer does not create "out the the dryer" warmth because of the fact that only the sides touching get warm. That's why it is best to bunch, not fold, the towel up and pull it upwards so that as much of it is touching the sides as possible. Someone told me that if you throw a damp washcloth on the bottom, it will make the towel warmer. I've tried it, and it seems to work. But I don't know if this is recommended by the company. The warmer is strong and sturdy and easily moved around. It feels and looks like something from a spa. The towels are not hot, but pretty warm. It has become a luxury that our whole family uses for each shower. The inside wall is very hot. When you reach in, you cannot allow your hand/arm to touch it. Small kids should be watched closely around the warmer. I don't have the room to keep it in the bathroom at all times, just during showers (we have a smaller bathroom). But this is not an issue, because we can't live without it! Sometimes it's little things in life that give us a big boost in our day. Believe me, this is the one to buy :)

I almost couldn't wait for the cold weather so I could go back to using my towel warmer! Put a towel in when you step into the shower and when you get out a wonderfully hot towel waits for you. It is not uniform- the part of the towel touching the walls are hottest. At first the towel warmer has an unpleasant odor but after a few uses I hardly noticed it anymore. On my machine, the on button is finicky - I have to be sure I pressed it fully or else it doesn't stay on. Little problems - I wish it was perfect but the enjoyment of the warm towel is worth it.

Towel Warmer that gets it all warm!

I previously had a towel warmer that was one of those metal bars but the only place that the towel got warm was where it hit the bars. This towel warmer is great because the whole towel gets warm and stays warm.

If you are looking for a towel warmer this is the one to get. Small drawback to a slight odor from the cylinder at first.
