My wife loves this dispenser. It got a good workout over Thanksgiving with Grandkids and passed all tests put to it. Its ease of use encourages and promotes clean hands in the kitchen. I would recommend this pump to all.

I now have four of these and give them as gifts regularly. This Simple Human electronic soap dispenser dispenses hand soap, and dish soap in our house, with ease and precision. It turns off with the push of a button for moving or cleaning, and you can control the amount of soap it dispenses. No more pumping and dripping and wet counters. There are two "sensor touch" models: white and brushed aluminum ($10 more). I like the brushed aluminum/nickel. What can I say? It's perfect, and looks great too.

I love this product. As a Raw Dog Food feeder, I have to be very careful about cross-contamination. I just love that I can clean my hands without pressing on a soap dispenser, causing the anti-bacterial soap dispenser to become a breeding ground for the bacteria I am trying to destroy! I also love the feature which allows me to adjust the amount of soap dispensed. Very clean looking dispenser, I highly recommend this product.

I have 5 of these dispensers, 2 work great, 3 totally kaput. Doesn't speak well for the company's quality control. Trying to work with customer servce, not much help. Warranty ran out, ok, but for 40+ bucks, there should be a much better quality to the product better customer service.

I have 2 of these, one in the kitchen and the other in our main bathroom. The amount of soap dispensed is adjustable, I keep mine on the minimum setting. When used with simple human soap they work perfectly... I used another popular brand in one of them and it dispenses more soap than necessary, even when at the minimum setting. Being a bit of a germ phobe, I love the no touch feature, especially when any of us have colds or flu. Easy on batteries (i do buy name brand) and they must save on soap also! I bought several as family gifts for Christmas this year!

Love this soap dispenser. When you have dirty hands, you don't have to touch a pump to get your soap. Simply put your hand underneath and the soap dispenses. It is sleek and modern looking, goes well in kitchens with stainless steel appliances and you can see when it needs filling.

We bought one of these a year ago and have had no problems with the product. We just buy a lavender soap refill from a warehouse club that dispenses well, and if more soap is needed we can adjust the machine for the amount produced. My family, even grandkids, have had no trouble getting the correct amount of soap needed to clean their hands. I love it because I don't have to touch anything to get soap after working with raw poultry, fish, etc. that might ( at least for me) require touching a pump for dispensing soap .

i really liked the look of this product and got it because i was tired of having the ugly bottle of soap on my sink. however, when it came, it takes FOREVER for the soap to be dispensed and only dispenses a very little drop each time. it wasn't as effective a product as i was hoping.

I've had this dispenser for over a year. I bought it initially for my handicapped son who has trouble with bar soap and pumps. I had trouble in the beginning until I started putting in FOAM soap. It works great and is very easy for him to use! My only complaint is that the liquid has to be very thin, no regular liquid soap refilsl because it will clog after a few uses, the foam soap refills work just fine. Other than that, it's perfect for what I wanted to use it for!

I have purchased two of these dispensers. Neither one has lasted more than 6 months. At this price they should last several years. This needs major upgrading.
The concept is great but not at this cost.

Battery Drainer

Most reviewers are probably writing within a month of getting this gadget. I got mine one year ago. It looks beautiful next to my stainless steel kitchen sink. The major problem that I have encountered is the constant replacement of the batteries. Since the auto sensor is always on, the batteries are always draining. I only use it once or twice a week but within 6 weeks you have to replace the batteries. This is a pain, especially if the unit is full of soap. This is expensive and not good for the environment. Also, you must use a thin, watered-down type of liquid soap. The thicker, better quality soaps won't pump. Mine is now under the kitchen sink, replaced by a simple counter dispenser.

To use regular liquid soap water it down a little.

We have has this thing for a year now and here is my advice: Water down your soap a little and the unit works perfectly. We also have one at the kitchen sink with non-ultra dish soap in it and it works great. DONT let it dry out or stay empty, the remaining soap will thicken and we had to use hot water in it to get it working again. If it breaks bring it back to BBB their customer service is GREAT. I keep seeing changes in the design of this from Simple Human, mainly the spout where the soap comes out, must be improving the design to avoid the problems of it getting clogged or dripping.

I was worried after reading about the soap dispenser being activated by lights in the bathroom. I have very strong lights, but they never activate the soap dispenser. Now if I can only place it so the cat can't activate it. The soap quantity is controlled very well, and it looks great on the counter. A word of caution though: if you keep it on a marble counter, watch out. Simplehuman soap that came with it WILL leave a permanent stain on your marble if it drips, even if you wipe it off immediately! May not be an issue on the granite, though, since it is a much denser stone. I will change the soap as soon as I can.

When this product works it is great. I have two, one works beautifully, the other one is an ongoing battle. Cleaning, changing batteries, making sure I handle everything properly, it works for a couple of weeks and then dead in the water. Very frustrating.

While I was making meatloaf it became clear to me I needed a soap dispenser that I did not need to touch. I told my husband I wanted a soap dispenser with a sensor. I found the simplehuman Sensor Pump Touch-Free Soap Dispenser. I have been enjoying it. It is much more sanitary and I do not have any fears of cross contamination using this soap dispenser. It is the best purchase I have made for my kitchen.

I love this soap dispenser. No one has to touch anything to get soap to wash their hands. Some off my boys have VERY dirty hands that need washing. When they use this dispenser I don't have to cleanup after them. I also like that we are not spreading germs from one person to another. I am VERY happy with this purchase. It's the second one I purchased.

Sensor Pump Dispenser

I liked the idea of this sensor pump dispenser but hesitated to buy it until I read reviews first. Based on the reviews I read, I decided to take a chance and order it even though it is pricy. I bought my first dispenser for my kitchen several months ago, and I was so happy with it that I bought a second one to use in the bathroom. It works very reliably and battery life is good as long as the batteries used are new. I love having the dispenser in the kitchen, especially, because my hands are often messy when needing to "soap up" to clean them, and it's nice not to have to touch anything in order to get the soap needed. I really like this product and feel it is worth the price.
