I read the negative reviews, but I purchased anyways. When I received it, it didn't work just like the negative reviews. But then I tested again and realized that it wasn't working because the machine is on safety mode. If you don't attach the parts correctly, the machine wouldn't start, which is a good thing!
Anyways, my hubby loves papaya salad, but it's too expensive to purchase them here in Utah, so he uses carrots. When I showed him how to shred 5-6 carrots at a time, he was so excited that he prepares his own salad a couple times a week b/c it's fast and easy to clean. I use this to mix dough and process other veggies and love it b/c it's fast.

BIG MISTAKE

My mistake was in not taking seriously the negative reviews about this product. When I turned it on the third time, it never came back on. It was in the price range that I wanted and I was excited about the bowl size. BUT, I wouldn't purchase another. I took it back and bought a different brand.

This food processor broke after being used one time. A key part to turning it on didn't work so nothing would shred. Returned it.

My Daughter bought me this for Christmas 4 years ago and it is still going strong.I would not know what to do without it.I bake all the time and cook big dinners for all
my family and I use it for everything.This product stands up great for anything you put in it.It is strong and very durable and does not take up a lot of space on my counter top. Great product!!!!!!!!!!!!

I looked at every chopper that was available and found this one to be the best buy. The chopping blads are not side by side but at varied levels which causes the chopping to be excellent. I made Ham salad that turned out Great. :) Happy with all the features.
