Its inexpensive first of all, so i don't think anybody should expect the best thing on the market. Yes the keyboard is made of Silicone. Thats a something you will have to learn to deal with. It is something that you will have to get used to, on the other hand, if you aren't a fan of the silicone keyboard then my advice is don't buy it. Easy as that. With the experience I had with this product I am having a good experience with it.

Pros:
-It is inexpensive
-Good design (other the the major flap in the front)
-Protects the iPad very good
-Allows me to plug in everything, and all the outports are still accessible.
-Keyboard is easy to get used to.
-Keyboard functions available so you can operate the iPad (i.e Home button, volume control, music functions, onscreen keyboard button)
Cons:
-Silicone keyboard can be a pain for some people
-Depending how you type the letters may show up twice, thats just something you will have to learn to change with your typing.. happened to me at first, rarely do it happen now.
-Big flap in the front (can easily be stuck underneath though)

Other than that I really like this product. And yes, I would recommend it to someone who is looking for an inexpensive keyboard for their iPad.

I have had no problems wiith thhe connection, chharger, or lag. What I do havee aa maajor problem with is the daammn keybboardd. As you cann ssee, the stupid keybooarrdd doubblee annd tripple typees ltters. Thhis is ridiiculouss. It defeattss the whole purpose of hhaviinng a keyboaardd. I am returning this as fasstt as i can. The keybordd is worthless.

Like a couple other reviewers, my case worked fine until the internal mini USB connection on the side of the keyboard fell out after only a few charges. If you are looking for a good keyboard buy Logitech or another name brand.

While this seemed like a great idea, it is very poorly made. The holes do not line up properly with my iPad 2 and it does not put it to sleep when closed the way most covers do. The keyboard connected easily but it feels flimsy. It also seems like the keys will mar the screen when closed. I am returning mine.

I thought this would be great because of the extra battery supply in the case. I went to plug in the case.After it was charged I tried to take the charger out of the keyboard. The charging devise inside the case came out with the charger making the keyboard completly unfunctionable. Great product idea however very cheaply made. I would go with the other one that costs $70.00 from the picture it looks like it was made a lot better.

I don't agree with JimB that for the price, it's a good buy. For the base price of $50, I expected a much better product. the vynyl (pleather) has a cheap feel and is poorly sewn together. This would be a good $20-$25 keyboard/case.

I don't mind the feel of the keyboard, but you have to have a very sensitve touch while typing or you will get multiple letters. I did not see the delay that another post mentioned. It seems like that delay could have been from interference with other bluetooh devices in use at the same time. That may be something to consider.

The case is quite bulky, but I haven't copared it to other integrated keyboard/cases to say that it is bulkier than any other. It is thicker than my netbook which kind-of defeats the purpose of chosing a tablet over a netbook.

Just bought this item and I love it! As a matter of fact I'm purchasing one for my boss. I haven't been experiencing some of the other issues noted in previous posts. Yes , it only requires a light touch and I prefer the rubber keyboard. Great protection for your iPad.

I agree with the previous poster that this product does add bulk, but it offers good protection for the ipad when traveling and going through airport security, etc. There are slimmer covers out there and this is not the one. Also, it's true that about 80% of the time when you press a key you get a double dose of that letter which is very annoying and time-consuming. It's a very sensitive touch keyboard so a light touch is needed.

For the price this is a very good buy. I agree with other posts that it adds bulk. It makes the pad about 1.5 inches but that works for me. I bought this to use on airplanes and it fits very well on the tray table and the rubbery keyboard is good protection. I had a coupon and that made the price extra attractive. I'm very happy with the purchase,

Offal piece of junk. I would give it zero stars but I am required to do at least one. Maybe I have a defective product. The linkup via bluetooth is easy. But that's all I can say in good terms.

The keyboard is rubbery and not natural. About 85% of the time that I press a key, it counts it as two keystrokes of the same key, but that's not the worst.

It seems the keystrokes transfer at a break. For example, I type a couple letters, there's a pause and then four letters appear. I type a sentence, pause, COUNT TEN WHOLE SECONDS, then the sentence appears.

This is not useful for me at all and I am disappointed that I wasted a 20% off coupon on it. At this point I just hope I don't have difficulty returning it.

The keyboard is very nice for long letter or report typing. BUT,

The negative: the keyboard and case add weight to the IPad. much heavier.. and I bought it for the lightness of it, i n my purse, back pack, carry-on, . So, if not writing a 100 pp. thesis, I prefer using a stylus.. and I prefer the Apple stylus to the Verizon... thickness is more comfortable. The stylus is much easier to use than your finger.
