Ugh. Where do I begin? I love to vaccuum. This is the WORST VACCUUM EVER! I have spent more time tearing it apart to unclog the beater head. It sucks fine as long as you don't clog the beater head. I give up. I am returning the vaccuum assuming BB&B will let me. $400 spent for nothing!

I just bought this vacuum yesterday. I LOVE IT!!!!
While I live in a 3 bed room ranch, I'm only 4' 11" so full size things don't really work for me. I was always turned off by the prices of the dyson but when my Hoover Pet Hair Eraser fell apart in less than a year, and stopped Erasing the per hair, I decided to take the plunge. It was the best thing I ever did. I can go from floor to celing without struggeling with attachments. I can even dust the tops of things that I usually need a step stool for. It's so light weight I can carry it from room to room easier than my purse. Oh and the Dyson people where really thinking when it came to the crevace and brush attachments. They put the brush on the crevace wand. You never loose track of it. I vacuum the window sill, then slide the brush down to the end and hit the screens and the bristles are soft enough to clean a figurine without knocking it over and study enough to bounce back after attacking the heat vents in my car. YES it fits in the car. I could go on and on about this thing!!!

In the begining it is a great little machine for my wood floors and three rugs. I use it two to three times a week. The dog hair seems to get caught in deep inside the head then loses suction. I have fairly small rooms but I do need to move from outlet to outlet. I like that the cord goes back into the machine. It is a clumsy machine. I don't believe it is worth the money.

I looked, looked, and looked. At a half a dozen stores, a dozen vacuums. There were quite a few at a lower price which was really tempting. But look close, and the quality just was not there. I really could not bring myself to spend $400 for a vacuum. Just seem way to much. But I had a 20% off coupon at Bed Bath & Beyond. Their return policy is awesome if you just keep the receipt and box. So I bought the Dyson thinking I can return it in a few weeks if not satisfied. Note: It has been two weeks, and I am not returning my Dyson. Awesome Vacuum! I have carpeted stairs, no problem. I have carpeted bedrooms, no problem. I have wood and vinyl floors, no problem. Attachments can be changed out super quick. This unit is very light and easy to use. One of the greatest features is the ability to vacuum under beds and couches without moving the furniture! The carpet attachment is not the most powerful, but perfect for my place and does a great job. The floor attachment is perfect. This unit comes with 5 years parts and labor! I am not returning this Dyson Vacuum! Find a 20% off coupon and buy this terrific vacuum! I also have a cat, and this unit picks up the cat hair purrfectly.
