Wonderful Pans

My husband and I bought these pans with gift cards from our wedding registry. Let me say, we are beyond thrilled! We both thoroughly enjoy cooking and were tired of our "hand me downs." Heat conduction was great and it's a breeze to clean up - simply let cool and wash with hot soapy water. No need to scrub these as the non-stick coating takes care of that! I was also able to go directly from the stove to the oven with these pans which I love! (Something I wasn't able to do with my old pans).

I was given this set for Christmas last year after I had given my full set of Calphalon pans to my daughter. I needed small frying pans(for one). I only had huge ones from my magnalite pans. You can cook an omelette without any grease in the pan. They are easily cleaned and still look brand new. I use them all the time. in fact, I just bought them for my son as a gift this Christmas.

I bought our set two years ago and have used them 2-3 times a week for sauteing. I have never had a problem with them sticking unless I am careless and let the oil or liquid get too hot. Even then a little soaking solves the problem. I have also used them for stir fry. I do have a wok but these pans are eaier. We read the instructions carefully and follow them for cleaning. We made sure that we are not using a utensil that will scratch the pan.
For the price this is one of the best values around. I will say there are a few higher priced pans that are a little better but again they are much higher priced. For the type of cooking I do, these are perfect.

I had a set of circulon ruined by a renter and thought I would give this a try, especially happy that it is dishwasher safe. Well, you will need it because there is no way this is non-stick. I use the smaller pan primarily for eggs and am sick of scraping and scraping to get the egg loose enough to serve. Fried eggs are impossible. Anything always turns into scrambled. Yes, I use silicon utensils. I am used to slide technology, not stick technology. These pans are just not worth it if you are looking to reduce your fat content when cooking.

These pans are super non-stick and they're good for things other than omelets, too! I've even made eggs in them without any cooking spray or butter at all, and the pans were still easy to clean. My only complaint is that egg *will* stick to the screw heads which hold in the handle, and those can be difficult to clean.

This handle stays cool - even under fire conditions! My 11 year-old nephew was cooking bacon in my fry pan when the grease caught fire. He picked up the fry pan to move it off the stove and into the sink while yelling for me. We got the fire out with a fire extinguisher. My nephew's hands were not burnt! We love these pans - not just because the handles really do stay cool, but also because they wash up beautifully in the dishwasher. REALLY GREAT fry pans!
