DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY....READ THIS!...

WHAT A JOKE when they advertise, "Make a week's worth of baby food in 10 seconds"! LOL
Yeah, try about 1-2 hours by the time you peel, cut, steam and cool the food first! Even when this is done, it takes about 4-5 rounds of unclogging the blades/food. Also, just like their Magic Bullet, even when tightly screwed on, the base and blade begin to loosen and food gets mashed in between the device and motor....and you can't get that wet! What a mess!!!
My basic blender works so much better and holds more food...and less mess!!!
I would recommend buying a blender if you don't have one instead of this messy and ineffecient piece of junk!
On a positive note: The little smiley faces are cute. That being said....use an ice cube tray. Much less expensive and holds more servings! Hope this helps!

I wasn't sure how well this would work, based on the mixed reviews. This was a gift, and so after watching the demo online, began using. Well, it is an enormous time saver, the food is 100% fresh, and I only have to make the food for my quad's once a week. If you have multiples, you will LOVE the time it saves, not to mention the money.

The Baby Bullet is AMAZING!

This product deserves way more than 5 stars! I bought the baby bullet shortly after I found out I was expecting. My son is now 6 months old and I recently started making his baby food. My favorite is sweet potatoes. Wash them, wrap in foil and bake at 400 for an hour let them cool and throw them in the bullet with water. It is that easy! I put some in the fridge for the next couple days and freeze the rest into individual portions. My son means the world to me and I want to give him nothing but the best. I would NEVER give him jar food, it is packed with preservatives and sugar...not good for baby! My child gets all natural and organic food with the help of the baby bullet. Thank you for making this product!

I got this last week Ive used it twice and I hate it, the they say its quick and easy well its not took me 10 minutes to get dinner ready it was chicken and my son didnt like it. i got it so i can make fresh meats, chickens turkeys and it cant do that work. I havent returned it yet but i plan to and they better give me all my money back. 65 dollars with tax included id rather hand mash his food. I also made bananas in it and it just stunk they came out too water and i even did little water. it doesnt do its job. and i am very disappointed since giving it a rating is required i had to do one star but if i could id choose no stars

I got this product before my baby was born and started using it when he turned 4 month. He is already 8 months and this product has been amazing! It's very durable and resistant. I have use from every stage and it's a life saver. I prepared everything in advance and my baby loved everything from the beginning. The book that comes with it its extremely helpful.

Loved it for 1 month before it started breaking. Found out that b/c it was a gift the warranty was useless, even though I had registered it online.
I will replace it with a Baby Breeza. Wish I hadn't wasted money on buying the steamer to go along with the bullet.

It was great for 1&1/2 months and then the black Lid/blade end stated forming cracks and a week later the motor stated whining. Such a dissapointment. Stay away! Just get a blender or a food proceser, either one will work better and last longer.

I had weight loss surgery. The diet calls for pureed food in small quantities for ex. 1/4 cup = 2 oz. Well the little blender cup and cutting blades work just terrifically and the little storage jars are perfect for that 2 oz amount of food !!
I pureed eggs and spinach, crabmeat and mayo, oatmeal with unsweetened applesauce..To food that are dry by nature like chicken I add teaspoons of chicken broth and then it gets soupier, much easier to go down the now sensitive hatch !!

Was a baby bullet fan--not anymore.

I received my baby bullet back in January 2012 as a gift. I read the reviews on the baby bullet and decided to keep it knowing that it wasn't probably the best quality. I figured as long as I babied it and took care of it exactly how they described it, it would last.
I ALWAYS hand-washed the blender, so the plastic wasn't exposed to extreme heat. I NEVER ran the motor over 30 seconds. I tried to make sure that all the food was thoroughly cooked, but even that can only be done within reason. There's only so much cooking that can be done with chicken. I never filled the food above the "max" fill line.
About a month ago the motor started to sound a little weaker than previous. I started putting less food in at a time. I just noticed yesterday the plastic that holds the blade is starting to crack. I can't just leave it on because too much food gets stuck and it has to be taken off to clean.
I have sent the little storage cups to daycare and they use a dishwasher. The cups only went through maybe 2 or 3 times before I stopped sending them because the plastic was getting cracks throughout. To me, that's pretty ridiculous to not be able to wash even the storage cups.
If you want to make your baby's food at home, you're better off to get a good food processor or blender because 3 months of use is pretty terrible for all the breakdown that is there. I didn't use the bullet every day either, it would be about every one - two weeks depending on how much I made. There's no way you could plan on keeping this for a 2nd baby. I couldn't even feed one.
Wished it lasted longer because I did like making my own food. I will be taking it back to BBB today and hoping they'll give me a credit to use on something else.

OK for occasional use

The baby bullet is just OK. If you are an occasional baby food maker, then this is the product for you. It's compact, easy to clean and nearly fool-proof to operate. The rubber freezer mold is great and it's easy to remove the food once it's frozen. I use the plastic baby food jars all the time, and the date saver on the jars is great.
The downside of this product is the motor isn't very strong. To do large batches, or make multiple items back to back, seems to wear on the motor, which gives off an almost burning smell after just a few moments of use.
Bottom line, if you plan on making all, or most, of your baby's food from scratch, just invest in a good food processor- it'll be more powerful, versatile, and it'll last longer.

I love this little baby blender, I had watched the informercial on it and just wasn't sure about spending $100 on something I could probably do in a regular blender. I went into bed bath and beyond and there was one left for $60. I got it and that night started making my own baby food - works great, but it doesn't come with a steamer basket and only one set of baby food jars so you are forced to buy another set. Other than that no complaints so far. Way better investment than $2 a jar of baby food - comes with a helpful little guide and a 1 year warantee... And baby can eat everything you eat! love it!

I bought this for my daughter who has a new born and I kept looking at them and the prices and just couldn't do it, then I found this one at BB&B and ordered it, cause the price was so reasonable! My daughter LOVES it, shipped fast and everything works great, she uses it everyday. I asked her if she had any complaints for this review, and she said yes, that it needs more jars! She wants more to fill! LOLExcellent product, excellent service, thanks BB&B for making this affordable for us!

Best Baby Product Ever Invented

Let me begin by saying that I was skeptical at first with the mixed amount of reviews I've read about this product whether on here, or on other sites who offer this product. People either loved it, or they hated it. I started giving my son store baby food, but he refused to eat it. Would YOU want to eat fruits and vegetable with a shelf life of 3 years?? So when I bought this, I read the instuctions CAREFULY and followed them exactly as they recomended. I love this machine, and my son can't get enough of the food! He loves EVERYTHING I've given him! Even Asparagus!! I've read that people complain that it doesnt chop/puree the food well, that it smells like it's burning, the cups are too small, etc. If you read the directions, it says to STEAM your food VERY THOROUGH!! If you steam it enough IT WILL blend perfectly. I'm assuming people were trying to run the machine on food that was still halfway hard and so therefore it wasnt blending properly. Secondly, it also says in the instructions to only allow the machine to run NO MORE than 1 minute or a burning smell can form. Now, if you steamed your food properly, there is NO way you'd even need to blend it for 1 minute. If you fill your batch bowl up over the MAX fill line which sometimes I do, I usually shake the blender a little while its going, to mix all the pieces together, but never have to turn it off mid-cycle. Everything is always blended perfectly. My son eats 2 jars per serving at 7 mos old, and eats 3 times a day, so the whole 6 cups gets eaten on a daily basis, so I am constantly using my blender on a daily basis because I prefer not to freeze food more than a couple of days which is the whole reason of why I bought this, To make fresh food, and it works just as good as the day I bought it...I just noticed that BB&B sells the extra storage kit which I'm extatic about because I'd love to buy another tray with the 6 jars. I honesly believe if you follow the directions as they were designed you'll have no problem what so ever. However some people I'm sure still want this machine to have 3000 watts of energy and blend food even though its not completely steamed. So if that's you, sorry, because you will be dissapointed. LOL.

I wish I had this when I had my son. My mother bought it for me as a gift. I love it so much. I feel good about knowing what my baby is eating. I will treasure it for always. I can even make salsa with Baby Bullet. Great tool. I love making organic fruit and vegetables baby food for my daughter to eat. I even make applesauce for my son and I to eat. It saves money and is healthy. It would make a great baby shower gift. Also. I freeze my baby food in the trays provided and when I have extra I use ice trays for the rest. The Baby Bullet is very easy and it is quick. I usually make baby food when Im making dinner for the rest of my family. Very conveinent to use. I absolutely love it!!

Although I have nothing to compare it to I am very pleased with this product. Some one mentioned that it has to be unplugged so it stops running ?? Not true, when you lock the cup into the base & push down it starts running and when you unlock & let go it stops... Other than it being a bit loud (my boyfriend sometimes complains about it, mostly bc I do it later in the evening once my son is in bed) it's perfect & powerful and you can hear that while it runs! If food gets stuck, use the spatula to scrape out under neath the blades or add more water or formula., If you think you've made a puree to thin or runny/ just make it thicker with cereal. It's truly SO easy. So far I have about 2 months worth of baby food in my freezer making large batches in 2 days spending about 2-3 hours each day the longest process is baking/steaming the fruits & veggies.. I find that having everything baking & steaming at once quickens the process if you like making large batched to have in the freezer. Some one also complained about the serving size cups.. They are 2oz, her child must eat A LOT.. 2oz is the standard amount for babies & mostly every other baby storage container for making home made baby food is either 2 - 4oz. Although I don't think size of cups should matter, the product works great, the freezing tray is awesome & a breeze to pop out the cubes. I had great customer service as well.. I cracked one of the cups dropping it from the top of the fridge so I called Baby Bullet for a replacement, they where nice enough to give me a FULL new set of cups AND another freezing tray instead of just another cup for the same shipping price.. I can't say enough about this little machine, the self satisfaction of knowing your feeding your baby nutritious home made food is truly priceless!! hope this helps mommies make the beneficial decision to make you own baby food. :)

I purchased my baby bullet when my daughter was 6 months old. She's now 11 months old. I still use my baby bullet every 3 days to make breakfast for her. I rarely use the big bowl as I don't like to freeze whole bunch. I just use the small bowl and make enough for her for couple of days. Baby bullet can chop up anything include meat. I normally would chop the items to 1 inch cube or smaller before I put them into the baby bullet. I have no problem with it so far. I've used it to make my pork rice porridge with a finer texture for her. I've made all kinds of fruit/yogurt puree for her or veggie/fruit/yogurt. Also a trick I've learned that if I got any food stuck under the blade, I can use the spatula that comes with the bullet to scrap it out. I will definitely suggest this fine purchase to my other friends.

I returned several baby food processors before buying this one. I have had it for 5 months & I love it. I made baby food for the entire week in 2-3 hours (fruit & veggies). I have always made my own baby food. If you shake it up & down properly, it mashed everything great. Pros: fast & good; gets the job done; best out of all products I have tries; decent price; easy to clean, just rinse it under warm water & you don't have to even use any chemicals to clean it (except for once in a while). Cons: some fruit doesn't get mashed down properly the first time, so I usually mix it a bit with the spatula to double check it & run it some more for a smoother finish; you have to unplug it to stop it (kind or weird, I'm used to pushing buttons); food gets stuck in between the knifes & it's not very easy to get the food out of there. Except for that, it is a great product. I usually don't even take the time to write reviews, but this one is worth the time :)

Very Disappointed. Not sure what all the hype was about. This product got great reviews, but I ended up returning mine. 1st, the jars for my son (6mo) were way to small, he was starving and 1 jar wasn't cutting it. He would eat atleast 3 in one sitting, so making 6 jars at a time was only breakfast, lunch and maybe 1 at dinner. The "small blender" wasn't grinding it well enough, it was either too chunky, but then I would leave it in longer, and it would be like liquid. i couldn't get the hang of it. After about a week, the base with motor started to smell like it was burning. My cuisinart blender works better and was half the price. SAVE YOUR MONEY

Amazing little blender. I finally decided to make my own baby food with my third son. I am beyond pleased with the baby bullet. I have made 5 batches of food in 2 days and it has taken me about 2 hours from cooking to clean up for all 5 of them. I also bought "The best homemade baby food on the planet"(karin Kinght). And love the recipes in it. I would recommend this item for any mom, no matter how busy you are, the satisfaction of feeding your baby homemade fresh baby for for every meal is beyond rewarding.
