Ridiculous waste of time and energy

I have now bought four of these shower rods for 2 bathrooms. The first two fell and broke so I returned them, bought two more and these fell and broke also. I've always had tension rods so I know there are good ones out there, but not these!

This product is TERRIBLE! As other reviewers have said, it doesn't lock in place and repeatedly falls down. After being woken up in the middle of the night by this rod crashing down, having our wainscoting dented and bottles of shampoo cracked and broken all over the tub, we finally brought this rod back. Moen and Bed Bath and Beyond should be ashamed to have their names attached to this piece of junk.

My chrome Moen shower curtain rod (tension) falls down regularly. I am so annoyed I could spit as each and every time it has fallen, it has chipped my brand new bathroom tiles and now I have to pay to get them replaced. Do not buy this rod!

If you buy this product you will be sorry you did!
Piece of junk. No excuses for making a product that absolutley will not stay up no matter how hard you try. Had this product for a month and the shower curtain fell down at least twice a week. Bought a cheap twist -turn and that solved the problem. Not even going to return it just going to throw it in the dumpster.

The rod refuses to stay up. It seemed extremely sturdy when I first bought it 6 months ago. Not sure what went wrong but now it can't even hold the weight of my hooks+curtain. The last straw was last night when it took a chunk of my door frame paint with it. It's now in the garbage and I have to find a replacement stat.

I should have read the reviews on this item before I purchased it. The rod would not lock into place as advertised on the box and would slide down the wall even before I put the shower curtain on. I feel that this product is dangerous since it could potentially come off the wall and fall on someone as they pull back the shower curtain. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

When my shower rod broke I was skeptical about buying one that tightens and mounts similar to my old one because thinking the same would happen again. This one took 5 minutes to install with no tools required and besides good lucking is extremely sturdy too...

Both extension rods completedly failed to perform. Neither would lock in place or lock at all. I was so ticked off that I didn't even return them for a refund. Instead, straight to the trash. Don't was your money.

We recently bought the useless piece of metal for our new home. The previous owner had recently retiled the shower and didn't install a permanent rod. We didn't want to risk drilling ourselves, so we bought this one. It stayed up for the first day or two. Now, it comes loose and falls multiple times a day. We now have resorted to simple putting it up while we shower until we can get around to getting a new one.
