The Pure Guardian 120-Hour Ultrasonic Humidifier uses Silver Clean technology to fight the growth of mildew on the surface of the water tank. Ultrasonic technology allows for ultra-quiet operation. The humidifier is equipped with options for warm or cool mist and a low water indicator light lets you know when it's time to refill the water tank. There is also a soft glow night light with a push-button on/off switch. The mildew-resistant tank has been treated with a fungistatic agent to protect it from fungal and mold growth. Plus there are no evaporating pads, filters or wicks to clean or replace. The 2.4-gallon capacity tank allows the humidifier to run for up to 120 hours (run time depends on atmospheric conditions). The high-output nozzle broadens mist in two directions throughout the room. This unit also boasts an auto shut-off and a carry handle. AC120V, 60Hz. With the poorly made control dial, it is very difficult to adjust the activation (on and off) and volume control. I used to have the same brand with automatic time setter and easy to control push in type of switches. I returned this model for refund. I have not received any reply to my return - which had a printed out label obtained on line. I purchased a slightly better model of this maker, HG 4600, still without the automatic timer setting but at least better controlled push in switches from elsewhere, because it was not available from BBB.

I was shopping for a not too large possibly portable humidifier, and had a few models written down, then went to BB&B. I found this one in the clearance section, and liked the design so much, I just took it home for a price that I better don't tell here, just amazing inexpensive! This little machine is running all day in my living room, and I already feel my sinuses getting better. It does NOT make ANY noise. I don't feel a huge difference between warm and cool mist, but it doesn't really matter to me. This little beauty is just amazing!
