MOST POWERFUL SHOWER EVER!

Have tried a dozen shower massages, and this one excedes my expectations for a shower freak like me.

With MINOR modifications, this thing is AMAZING! Best water pressure I've ever had. The standard setting (Koverage) is a face covered of holes, not just a ring like most shower heads and it drenches you! The Kurrent setting on the side is so blasting, I don't even use it! It can do some damage if you're not careful, no joke. The Kotton setting is a thin, soft, aerated sheet of water and you can rinse your hair in one pass. The Komotion setting is like a think rain and looks and feels pretty cool. Not really practical for "showering" but would be nice to relax under.

To release the full beauty and power of this shower massage, you MUST drill out the water conservers or flow restrictor or whatever they are called. The power of pressure will nearly double from doing this. There are two of these mechanisms. One on the start of the hose and another on the handle. The restrictors are different than other brands. When I drilled them out, springs and water wheels came flying out. Goodbye Federal Government, you're not gonna tell me how much water to use. I pay my own bill.

The main connector to the pipe is metal and seems like it will last. However the holder and the hose connections are plastic, so time will tell on how long those will last. So far, just a little plumber's tape and no leaks.

Buy it, drill it, and you WILL be happy.

Good product - some installation problems

My wife and I were are happy with the shower head but the hand set cradle was too small to support the hand set. Fortunately, the cradle from the unit I was replacing worked just fine. Otherwise, I would have had to return the item to the store and look for a different product. Purchased October 5,2012.

I installed back a few years ago a Waterpik Aqua Fall™ Combo Shower Head that included a handheld Shower Massage, which hangs off a diverter that provides freedom in the shower with a 5-foot hose and has multiple spray positions. I live in San Antonio that has hard water supply. I have had builds up of scale on both shower heads and I use CLR cleaner to remover the build up over the years and the cleaning has broken down the plastic face plate and inside the mechanism so the shower head does not work. Teledyne Waterpik refused to honor their Lifetime Warranty that covers this product.
I purchased Kohler Flipside Handheld Shower Head shower with advice of SlimJim, from East Peoria, IL January 17, 2012
He said, “That this shower head does a great job of coverage and I like the idea of not having to move the swivel, instead just move the head up and down. Bed Bath & Beyond is the cheapest place he found to buy one when you use a store coupon.”
The Flipside Handheld Shower Head is easy to install if you have ever installed one before and I also removed the diverter because the Shower Head acts like a rain shower head in the cradle and the flip mechanism works great, and each option is distinct. My last Waterpik hand held didn't have great differentiation between spray options, but this one really does. I believe the purchase is worth it! The manager at Bed Bath & Beyond said “make sure hold on to the receipt and paper work and if you have the same problem - Bed Bath & Beyond will stand behind the sale.

Great Product

I purchased this shower head for my guest bathroom. My guests have loved using it. They report it is very easy to flip to the different settings and the flow is strong enough to get all the shampoo out of your hair too! I have not had any issues with this product rusting however because it is in the guest bath it is not used on a daily basis.

I have had this shower head for about a year. Installation was pretty simple. It does seem like I had to cut something off and I agree with the other review that you DO NOT want to use a knife because cutting the hose is too easy and expensive. This shower head does a great job of coverage and I like the idea of not having to move the swivel, instead just move the head up and down. I have no problems with this shower head and I think I will also install one in my other bathroom soon. Bed Bath is the cheapest place I found to buy one when you use a store coupon. Easy to install if you have ever installed one before. I did not take out the flow restrictor because there is plenty of water flow and pressure.

I love the Flipside. I had no trouble installing it. I've had several brands and setups of handhelds--some with a fixed shower head and handheld and others just handhelds. This is one of the better ones. The water pressure isn't so great in my house, so I expected the Flipside to be just ok. Much to my surprise, the pressure was excellent. The flip mechanism works great, and each option is distinct. So many other handhelds don't have great differentiation between spray options, but this one really does. Love it!

Just purchased and installed this Kohler Flipside shower head and so far, have nothing but good things to say about it. Like you, I read many reviews and had some questions. But, I'm here to say that, first of all, installation was straightforward and took all of about 15 minutes. (Helpful hint for you novice DIY's: use some tape on the flats of the cradle and hose connections to prevent damaging the chrome finish when tightening with a wrench). Secondly, with our city water pressure at around 65 psi, flow from shower head is better than expected after reading how some have felt the need to modify the internal restrictor to increase flow. Lastly, I don't find that the process of rotating the shower head to be annoying or inconvenient in any way. Maybe I'm just having too much fun with it to notice!

I spent the good part of a Sunday afternoon installing this contraption (there a no pictures and very little instruction included). I realize a man or a plumber would probably have had an easier time installing it, but we don't all have access to that kind of help. Once I attached and tightened everything, I found it difficult to set the head into the cradle. It is very top-heavy, and the cradle flopped down when I did manage to get it in. My bathroom and I are drenched from this process. I am on my way now to return it.

I'm fairly certain that our water bill will be 3x higher than before because this shower head is amazing. There is actually one setting that I like to describe as "an angel licking your back." I can drain an entire hot water tank in pure bliss and relaxation.

I have had this shower head for approx 1 month and I really like it. Easy to install but had to use a wire snips to cut off plastic parts that help screw on the hose connections (Do not use a knife. You will cut the plastic on the hose). Good water pressure. Full face spray delivers a good even flow. Easy to operate. Wish the hose was a foot longer (60" hose). Looks like good quality product. The swivel head makes it easy to direct the flow where you want it. It was cheaper to buy at Bed Bath with a 15% coupon than anywhere else.
