This Shark is a cleaning machine. The best vacuum cleaner I've ever had. Love that it is lightweight and has powerful suction. Simple to clean after using and no bags to replace. I've had mine for over a year. Great for inside the home and does a splendid job vacuuming the interior of my car. No quarters, just a long extension cord. Highly recommend this.

I've had this vacuum for over a year now and it still works as good as the day I got it. It's light and has great suction. The attachment for furniture and pet hair works great on small entry rugs and pillows. I love that it has 4 filters ( including one for allergens on the front of the machine). Overall great vacuum, and I would definitely but another one when mine wears out.

Absolutely wonderful machine! I've been waiting to buy one for a long time, and it has already exceeded my expectations. The first time we used it, we emptied 3.5 canisters of stuff the old vac left behind! Excellent suction, and works well around stubborn corners and edges. Buy this vac--you won't be disappointed! brush spits dirt out

We bought this in November 2012 and it stopped working in May 2013, 6 months later. I thought this was a good vacuum at first, until I tried to use the spin brush setting for carpet. We have hardwood floors and rugs and when it was switched to the rugs, it spits dirt out all over the place; you can feel it hit your ankles. We also own dogs and dog hair constantly got stuck in the bend of the pipe every time we used it. The attachments don't fit securely into hose they wobble around. Not worth the money, the cheap dirt devil at walmart lasted longer than this did.

It picks up way more then are old vacuum did & it so much lighter so it makes vacuuming easier & I find myself using it more then I would of with our old one. EXCELLENT! Like Dyson, but without the price!

We have owned this vacuum for 3 years. After researching reviews meticulously, we decided add the Shark Navigator to our wedding registry instead of the Dyson. This was an excellent decision! We have tile flooring and carpet and use both the hard surface and carpet settings frequently. It never looses suction and it NEVER gets clogged. I have sucked almost anything up into the machine and it catches the larger items in a separate container from the dirt, so you can see them and simply remove them. It is SUPER easy to clean and EXTREMELY easy to empty - probably the easiest vacuum I have ever used when it comes to emptying it, so I don't know why people are complaining about emptying it. (Probably the reason why they are having to empty it more than a normal vacuum is because it is sucking up more and cleaning better; we don't have any pets and I cannot believe all the dirt and dust that is collected after just vacuuming ONE room!) No filters to change, either. Low maintenance. I would like to say that I would have appreciated a stairs attachement. It's the only annoying thing about the Shark. I never get to clean the stairs with a rotating brush, instead I just have to use the suction. LOVE THIS VACUUM! GREAT BUY!!

Absolutely loved this vacuum initially, although didn't like detaching stray hair from mesh in dirt cup. 2 years later, the hoses have split, and are duct-taped together. Hate the thought of buying another vacuum so soon.

Dirt container is too small and owning a dog I have to reach in the container to unlodge dog hair. (The container is much smaller than the container on the low-end Shark I owned for 5 years.) Vacuum is top heavy and tips over when I remove the dirt container to empty it. The suction is great and it vacuums very well, yet after absolutely loving my previous Shark I have to say that I am underwhelmed with the Navigator Lift-Away.

Pros:
- 5 year warranty - super easy - no hassles. you don't even need to save your receipts or anything
- friendly customers service. I have called twice to get replacement parts and they were very friendly both times and sent me new parts right away.
-good suction

Cons:
-I have had the little clasps break in various areas 2 times in the first year. It's great that they replace them, but a pain that they keep breaking.
-Hose is too short and often tips vacuum over when I am trying to do things - its a little awkward when using any of the attachments.

25 years ago i had a Vacuum cleaner salesman come to my home and show me how dirty my floors were I was so shocked I bought that vacuum and upgraded it three times believing that you get what you pay for and i had the best and my floor's were very clean. The other day i asked my husband to pick up a cheep vacuum for the small jobs around the house.One that i could grab quickly when needed. Mine is a Rainbow and needs to be to be filled with water ex before using. So he did he had a 20% coupon for Bed Bath and Beyond so he picked up this vacuum for $139. I had cleaned the carpets that morning and did not expect what this little vacuum picked up I had that same feeling as i had 25 years earlier but even more because i realized i had invested a great deal of money and time unnecessarily.I am amazed with this vacuum the more you use it the stronger the suction and this is true because every time i use it it lifts the fibers. My carpet looks and feels better every time i use it. Its true great things come in little packages and with little prices to.

A few months ago we have replaced our Dyson 41 with this vacuum. The price differential is about $200 (savings) and much better experience. It is much lighter and easier to handle. The maneuverability is just as good as one-ball Dyson, but switches are much more user friendly. Transforming it from upright to lift-away for stairs cleaning is also much faster and easier. The suction is as good if not better and the attachments are easier to connect. You don't have to pay premium price for this excellent machine.

If you are truly looking for a GREAT vacuum this is it. I was originally going to purchase the Dyson DC41 but after researching decided to go with the Shark. So glad I did. Very affordable light weight tremendous suction power. My hubby and I vacuumed the house and were amazed and shocked at how much dirt and pet hair we got. Still can't believe that was in our carpet. The attachments are great and it allows me to easily vacuum the couch and in other hard to reach places. Please consider this inexpensive vacuum over a more pricey one. Bed bath and beyond excepts 20% off coupon towards this vacuum and you can return it if you are not as HAPPY as I am:))

I've watched the infomercials a few times and wondered if this "never lose suction" vacuum was as amazing as it said. So I just bought one yesterday and went through my carpets. It was so light, I barely had to push it. However, I could see the bag fill up with just the dining area and invisible dog hair (my dog has short hair the same color as my couch). I had to empty the cannister twice. And let me brag about the cannister which has a top and bottom latch to empty out of either end. I had to pick lint off of a filter before which was awful and messy from a different vacuum. I was able to walk up the stairs pulling off tons of dirt and hair with such an easy lift-off cannister, and it had the same suctiion as if I was pushing the entire vacuum. I am sooo happy with it! Plus, having asthma, the hepa filter keeps anything from shooting out the back or in the air. It has 3 extend wands. OMG! And with a 20% coupon, it made it even more enticing. So worth the price! If you get it from TV, you get a free steam mop. I didn't get that, but I really just wanted the vacuum that never loses suction. So an appropriate phrase is that this vacuum will "suck" for life! :)

Exceptional cleaning

This is my first review on any product, but I think the vacuum has exceptional cleaning power and I want to tell you about it. I have a couple of medical issues that weaken my muscle strength and stamina, so I've always chosen a canister-style vacuum cleaner in the past. I found that upright vacuums are much heavier and harder to push and maneuver - even the self-propelled ones. It was almost time for a new vacuum but I wasn't even considering an upright until a professional housecleaner I know recommended the Lavender Shark NV352E. She said it was lightweight enough for easy transporting, superior in cleaning, and easily maneuverable. After investigating different brands of vacuums, I chose to purchase the one she recommended - even over the red and white one that was replacing it - mainly because the replacement was about 5 lbs heavier and about $100 more expensive, even though the new one had a longer corrugated hose for reaching higher places, a larger capacity for holding dirt, a longer crevice tool, a longer electrical cord, and a light on the front of the carpet cleaning unit. Plus, a store clerk told me the Lavender Shark and its red and white replacement had the same cleaning abilities because they had the same motor. I chose the Lavender because those 5 lbs would make a huge difference in not only how long I would be able to vacuum but whether or not I could vacuum at all. It's amazing how much strength it takes to push around 5 extra lbs. The store was out of that particular vacuum so I had to order it. I received the vacuum in about 4 days (less time than expected). With Bed Bath & Beyond's 20% coupon and free shipping, I ended up paying less for it than anywhere else and about half the cost of a canister. I've been pleased with how well the vacuum picks up dirt from my carpet and it's just as maneuverable as a canister vacuum. It also does a good job on the floors.

The only cons about the vacuum are:
1) There's no light on the floor unit to help you see in darker areas,
2) It's a little noisier than I'm used to,
3) The corrugated hose is somewhat stiff and a little too short - making it slightly difficult reaching up the wall for cob webs, (but then that's what a Webster is for).
4) There's enough space designed to carry all but two of the additional tools on the vacuum itself, but I figured out a way for the vacuum to carry the additional two tools.

I'm glad I chose the Lavender model and am sorry they have discontinued making it. If I was physically stronger, I would've chosen the new red and white model because it has most of what the Lavender one doesn't (as mentioned above). I thank God I found a vacuum that does the best cleaning job I've ever seen in a vacuum, is light enough for me to comfortably use, and is very affordable. Don’t hesitate to purchase this vacuum – it’s a jewel & a God-send!

I bought this vacuum for my girlfriend after she expressed to me how she was so agitated with the two previous vacuums that broke down on her. After tackling our hardwoods and pet hair on the carpet, she and I LOVE it. The sucking power is amazing and the tilt feature makes it easy to maneuver around furniture. The entire product is light enough for her to carry and the removable canister makes it even lighter and is so convenient on steps. I did tons of research before this purchase and many consumers were comparing this Shark to Dyson...with amazing performance and a much lower price tag, I tend to agree.

I actually bought two of these this year for Christmas gifts for my grown sons as I absolutely LOVE mine! The added feature that the canister comes off for additional "reaching" is a great new feature of this new model. There are only two things we don't like about the vacuum: 1. There is only room for one accessory on the vacuum itself. All the rest are in a cumbersome bag. 2. The wheels on the back are very close together so if you're using any of the hand tools with the stretchy tube, you have to be careful of the position you have the vacuum in or you will pull it over. That said, the POSITIVES far outweigh these two minor problems. This vacuum has a lot of power for its little size. It is lightweight enough to go anywhere. The handheld beater-bar accessory is invaluable for doing furniture. Pet hair is NO problem as this vacuum does it all. Just like the title, WE LOVE IT!!!

Love the suction and easy to empty method. I feel more anxious to vacuum more often, because this vacuum always shows such a difference. We received the vacuum and was anxious to use it. It is a great vauum but not for us. It has terrific suction but we have laminate floors with two area rugs and I find it cumbersome to use. To me it is heavy and it doesn't get under things and the wire always seems to get in the way. I believe if we had carpeting throughout the house, you wouldn't be able to have a better vacuum. I'm seriously thinking of returning it but keep hesitating because of the suction and ease of cleaning the vacuum itself.

I have always been brand loyal to Oreck Vacuum cleaners. With 2 dogs, I "thought" the Oreck vacuums were doing there job picking up pet hair, dander, etc.
Until I received the Shark Navigator for a Christmas present. The amount of dog hair, dust, and dander this vacuum picked up was amazing. I have allergies, and after a few days of using the Shark, my allergies disappeared. Needless to say, the Orecks will be on the curb on trash day. This product is 5 stars all the way!!
