My dog loves "chasing the light" outdoors. Unfortunately she then tracks dirt, mud and leaves into the house... This has got to be hands down the best "indoor" light laser toy to entertain and give her work-out during those rainy or very hot days. Love it and so does she!

Unless your cat enjoys loud motorized whirring noises right by it's face, this is not the toy for you. My cat almost had a heart attack and was totally freaked out by the noisey contraption, didn't move from her bed and seemed relieved when I turned it off. Maybe good for a wild, crazy spunky kitty who likes lots of noise.

Excellent Investment!

I purchased the Frolicat Dart online, in hopes that my one year old tortoiseshell would like it. I currently live with my sister who has two cats as well. As soon as I popped the batteries in the back of the Frolicat, within a few minutes all three cats had claimed a spot in the living room around the Dart. They were all running around like crazy the whole time it was on. I turned it off and went and did some laundry, when I came back everyone was still sitting there waiting for it, so I turned it back on. Best purchase for the pets ever ( trust me they have a lot of toys, I used to work at PetSmart). I highly recommend!

Won't stop/won't start

My only complaint, you would think that if you turn it on by the speed button, it would automatically set for 5 minutes, but it doesn't. We finally figured out the timer. The other problem is we have used it so much, instead of pausing for 5-10 seconds, it gets stuck there for hours. I'm hoping it's still under warranty so I can get it exchanged. MY CAT LOVES IT!

Unlike laser pointers you have to hold, this one can operate by itself! It keeps my cats entertained for a long time so i can get sleep when they want to play! I love that it also turns itself off. Best toy ever - well worth the money.
