This is at least the third low cost sno-cone/ice shaver that we have owned in the past five years. This is the best by far, although not perfect (but hey do you have a 1k to drop on some sugary ice machine?) Love that you don't have to freeze the ice in special molds and can use whatever ice you have on hand, It makes nice shavings (kinda chunky) that the syrup clings to, instead of clumping or running through to the bottom. We made about 50 of these the first day and many more since...still running great, will probably dull the blades before the motor wears out. 2 thumbs up on this one for the price, ease of use, and finished product.

I think that the Jelly Belly dual ice shaver is something fun and easy for the whole family to enjoy. Once my daughters saw it, they kept bugging me and bugging me until I got it for them. This is truly a great machine and I recommend it!

Cheap snow cone makers seem to be a sketchy category, but this one had pretty good reviews so I bought it. We've used it at two separate parties and made around 30 snow cones so far and it still works. It allows you to make one or two at a time but you're better off making two each time because a bit of ice will come out of the inactive spout. Not a deal breaker. You will not get a full global of snow cone with this like at a fair. It just fills the cone -- not enough room for a rounded top. It was a big hit for the kids.

I purchased this for my children who are 7 and 5 they
really enjoyed making the snow cones. I did have to use different snow cone cups due to the cups provided were not strong enough.

Didn't last long!

After around 10 uses, the wheel mechanism jammed on this machine, and would no longer work. Plus, it is loud, and when you have the knob turned to make just one snowcone, the vibration caused knob to move, and ice falls out under the second funnel. I have since bought the "Nastalgia Old Time Snow Cone Maker", and it is quiter, and much simpler to operate!

I bought this to take to my daughters third grade class. Each kid had two sno cones and this machine didnt have any problems producing that amount in a short time. I would recommend this to anyone. The kids loved it. I bought the syrup but found online recipes for different flavors, all of which was used. The kids liked the varieties and truly enjoyed their snack time.

I am a HUGE fan of snow cones and shaved ice. This little machine is a huge success!!! it makes great snow cones!! We use our own cups, not the Snow cone cups, it does get a little wet around the machine. But in the long run I love it and would buy it again!!!
