Different from standard carbon filters

I have a standard carbon filter that I have been using for years. Just recently I decided that carbon may not be enough to clean our water and decided to check out Reverse Osmosis filters. These filters are costly and wasteful, so I was left with few options.
I had the opportunity to review the ZeroWater system, courtesy of ZeroWater, and I was satisfied with the results. The water tastes only slightly different than it does with the regular carbon filter, but when using the included TDS meter, I can see that there is a difference in the amount of dissolved solids in my water. If you are looking for a good pitcher style filter, ZeroWater is a great choice. I love that you can monitor your water contaminant levels. The filters may seem costly as compared to other filters, but ZeroWater does a lot more and in the long run it will pay for itself if you are buying bottled water.
I recommend trying it out!

I got this product couple weeks ago. The first week is fine. But after a week or so, water started to taste funny, like lemon taste. I tested with the indicator, and it showed around 200. Anyway, to me, definitely not live up to the expectation.

Finally Clean Water

Our house water comes from a well. The water was drinkable but had a yucky taste. Tested the well water with the included meter. It read 176. I then tested the water that came from the "filtered" refrigerator with a brand new filter element. It read 174. I was wondering why the water tasted like crud all the time. Ran water through the ZeroWater filter and it read "0".
More importantly it tasted like a zero. Very satisfied. If there was a 6th star I would give it 6.

My wife & I have owned multiple countertop water filtration systems and have found the ZeroWater Pitcher to be the best yet and most practical for us. The filters are pricey, but well worth the premium to us because our public water supply is naturally laden with calcium & lime sediment and we love the taste of ZeroWater in our coffee, tea and "water on the rocks".

THE WATER QUALITY IS VERY GOOD, BUT THE PROCESS IS SLOW. THE PITCHER IS LARGE (TAKES A LOT OF SPACE), THE TOP MUST BE REMOVED TO POUR WATER IN (THE ENTIRE TOP, NOT JUST A SMALL CAP), & THE INSIDE WILL FALL OUT IF YOU TIP IT TOO FAR TO POUR. I LIKE IT BETTER THAN THE BRITA IT REPLACED, BUT IT COULD USE SOME DESIGN WORK. I USED THE 20% DISCOUNT. FULL PRICE IS TOO HIGH FOR THE PRODUCT.

I just bought this today. We tested our water and it contained 66-67 TDS, our refrigerator filter read 63 TDS and our zero water is at 0 TDS. The water filters slowly but we expected that since it has 5 layers to filter through. Some people have complained about spilling water from the pitcher but you can solve that by not overfilling it. Make sure the water is filtered and below the black O-ring. What I love the most about this is that the chlorine smell is gone!

Great filter, lousy pitcher

I replaced my Brita pitcher with this one. If you buy one, have a towel in one hand to wipe up the inevitable dribble that will come from the spout, dripping on whatever surface your cup or glass is sitting on, and will also dribble down the outside of the pitcher itself. When you pull up the spout's cover, also make sure it's ALL the way up or it will drop down on the water you're pouring and create a splattering fountain. The filter is great but the pitcher is very poorly designed.

This is indeed a great water filter. Much better than the Brita I used for years. However, if you buy this pitcher, have a towel handy EVERY time you pour from it because the spout will drip down the front of the pitcher AND drip onto the counter. My Brita pitcher never dripped but the Zerowater pitcher does, every single time.

ZeroWater is the best filter pitcher on the market

I first heard about the ZeroWater thru a television ad and was always intrigued at how much it claimed to pull out of the water. Honestly, I didn't think it would be better than the "other" brand I have. BOY WAS I WRONG! I used the included PPM tester to test my faucet water, filtered water, and the ZeroWater water. I was AMAZED at how much there was in the filtered water! I really thought my filter was doing the job, but in reality, it wasn't much better than the water straight from the faucet!!
If you're looking for the purest filtered water you can find, definitely grab this ZeroWater filter! I use it to fill my husband's water bottles every day since the bottled water had a higher PPM than the ZeroWater. The water from the ZeroWater filter system is also really delicious and as someone who hates to drink water, I can definitely agree that water tastes better when filtered through ZeroWater.

ZeroWater = No More Water Bottles

I admit it - that my weekly shopping list included cases of bottled water even with the knowledge that the water flowing from my tap meets or exceeded all health-related standards for quality and safety, according to the State of Washington Department of Health. However it's a mind thing for me somehow drinking water from a bottle seemed to be more clean and healthier until I was introduced to the ZeroWater pitcher and given the opportunity to review one.
Here is what I discovered and love about the ZeroWater Picther:
- It fits perfectly in the door of my fridge right next to the jug of milk for easy access for the entire family.
- Everyone in my home can re-fill it thus we never run out of fresh filtered water.
- My family tends to drink more water when it is fresh, cold and easily accessible and with the pull-and-pour spout it doesn't get any easier
- For some reason my taste buds just say it taste better coming out of a ZeroWater pitcher even if our City water company says that my tap water meets or exceeds all health-related standards for quality and safety.

Know EXACTLY what's in your water!

ZeroWater pitcher works great. What's great about this pitcher is that it comes with a TDS meter. So your not only getting the pitcher, filter, but also the meter that can be used to measure any water. So when I got mine I tested my sink water and it was 53 then I tested my newly filtered water and of course it came up 000. You can test any water any where you go. ZeroWater pitcher is also certified to remove lead, chromium and mercury. Another neat thing is you can actually SEE what's in your water, after it is filtered there are pieces of dissolved minerals in the filter top. It's really gross, but at least you know it's working! I love the design of the filter, it fits nicely in the refridgerator. It's definitely worth the buy to know exactly what you are drinking and what's in you water at all time. It also brings peace of mind knowing you are feeding your family healthy/clean water. I have received a ZeroWater pitcher and filters to facilitate my review

ZeroWater Water Filtration System is THE BEST YET!

Setting up our new ZeroWater pitcher was a cinch! It took less than 3-minutes to figure out how to use the pitcher, install the filter, and discover the importance of my new TDS monitor.
We were purchasing approximately ten cases of water with 24 bottles per month, which equals out to 192 bottles/month. Each case costs approximately $12.00/each (depending on sales, size, and which brand we selected, but this is average at our store). I discovered that our family was spending nearly $1,500 annually on bottled water. Although this may not seem like a TON of money, I am living in a household with ONE income and three people.
$1,500 can go a long way in our home and I would much rather spend it on something else than bottled water! Once you factor in the hidden costs (our environment, plastic bottles, energy used for production, etc.) – I can’t find a reason to go back and spend $120+ each month on water.
Using the TDS monitor is not difficult at all and only takes a second to do! Simply push the "on" button, remove the cap and place your monitor approximately 1" inch deep into the water. You’ll begin to see a number pop up onto the monitor screen instantaneously as it meets the water.
Wait a few seconds and watch the reading fluctuate; your final reading will stabilize within a few short seconds. You can press the "hold" button if you’d like the meter to "remember" that reading for you. This was helpful since the meter returns back to 000 as soon as it was removed from water.
I ran some tests on our unfiltered water to see our local TDS score, but the meter is also important as it helps us realize when it is time to replace our ZeroWater filter! I am going to test our pitcher every 2-3 days, which is important to make sure we are still receiving a 000 reading from our filtered water.
This home filtration system is byfar the best we have ever owned. I have been bragging to all of my friends and make sure to serve water now whenever we are entertaining; "anyone want a glass of water? anyone? yes, you do... oh AND you have to check THIS out!!!" It's been a huge hit in our home and I am SO glad we are saving a TON of money (and it's helping our environment.. WIN-WIN for everyone!!!)

People always tell me that I have "excellent water" or the "best well water they ever had" and truthfully I have to agree. My water tastes fresh and clean to me ............second only to HOT SPRINGS ARKANSAS fresh from the springs water which was the best water I have ever tasted in my life, like silk. I was shocked when I was reviewing this product to find that my water registered a 75 ...........which is much lower than many of you will have as a reading but higher than I expected as we are on a community well which is filtered on a large scale. So ANY impurity reading above bare minimum would have been a shock to me. According to the included information this was in line with my state (VA) average of 051-200. Oregon and South Carolina has the lowest on the card I was given 002-050 With my areas reading I can expect that 1 filter will last for 40 gallons or more per filter. This isn't bad at ALL , especially when they are giving you a $5 coupon on your next filter and $30 in coupons to sign up for future purchases. 40 gallons is a LOT of bottled water! :) savings are astronomical ! I followed all of the directions in the box and found that I had a 015 on the first reading and then went back and re-rinsed the pitcher (I let sit in a dish drain overnight after washing to dry) and then successfully got the desired 000 reading. UM UM GOOD! TASTE and will be using with my Coffee Machine on a daily basis from now on! The process to set up/ test and use was very simple and self explanatory. The Dispenser on the outside of the bottlBete is exactly that a DISPENSER , don't be like me and press it "to see what it does" or you will waste your GOOD WATER! :) Also make sure you put the lid on TIGHTLY as I didn't and had a bit of spillage until I corrected that! MY WATER TASTED BETTER THAN IT DID and I thought my water was GREAT to begin with! I have received a ZeroWater pitcher and filters to facilitate my review

I can’t believe I’ve been paying nearly $40 a month to have water delivered to my house and it has dissolved solids in it, yuck. After showing my husband the results of the TDS test and we talked about how much money we were wasting on delivered water we decided to cancel the service. I really don’t mind turning in our water cooler, it takes up a lot of space in my already tiny kitchen. The water tastes amazing out of my ZeroWate pitcher. I’m very impressed with this system and will be using it in my everyday life.

I will no longer buy large jugs of water, I can filter it in house and the water comes out so much cleaner!

I wasn't sure what to think about ZeroWater until I actually tested it out to see that it really does work, it filters out all of the dissolved solids from the water and makes it taste great!!
The water goes through the top and filters to the main pitcher area as the particles are removed (make sure you wait for it to run through the filter or it will be top heavy. There is also a handy spout to make it easier to dispense the water.
We love the ZeroWater pitcher, it made the water crisp, clean and refreshing! I have received a ZeroWater pitcher and filters to facilitate my review

Yummy Water!

A couple years ago we purchased my "dream" refrigerator! The biggest wow with it is the fact that it has an ice and water dispenser, something I've always wanted on a refrigerator and never had. We do have a filtration system on it, but I often can't keep up with replacing the filters before they are considered not good any more. I was very excited about getting the opportunity to review the ZeroWater pitcher.
I truly want the best for me and my family, especially the things that go into our bodies. I was really interested in not only getting a water pitcher with an advanced water filtration system that removes that just about all...if not all of the disolved solids from our water. The ZeroWater pitcher comes with a TDS Meter, which measures the total disolved solids. Seriously you could have fun with this - measuring your tap water, your refrigerator water if you have a dispenser and even bottled water that you have.
So I took some measurements of my water, specifically my tap water, my refrigerator dispenser water and the ZeroWater pitcher water. My tap water measured at 156. According to the ZeroWater literature that is were most water in the USA falls into. My refrigerator dispenser water measured 133. Again, that falls into the same category as the tap water. My filter for the refrigerator is way overdue to be changed, so once I get a new filter for that I will be very interested in seeing how that filtered water measures. My husband has always told me that he thought the filter lasted longer then they said since he doesn't think we go through as many gallons as they say. Apparently it's not helping at all! Now for the water that was filtered through the ZeroWater filtration system, it measured 000.

I have owned several water filtration pitchers and replacing the filters seems to be the costliest expense but it's hard to know exactly when it's time to replace the filter. The ZeroWater Filtration pitcher with Electronic tester makes it easy. No more guesswork and no more wasted $$! I didn't really notice any specific taste in my water but I am confident the water is free and clear of unwanted stuff we don't want. Overall, a good product for the money spent.

I bought this product and gave it a good try. It's top heavy so when filled full, spilled easily and was just cumbersome to move around. The spigot doesn't work well, it filters very slowly so again, I spilled water moving it around when the pre-filter reservoir was full. I also thought it made the water taste metallic.
