Defective Beverage Dispenser

Product had multiple defects. Stones or dirt were molded in the glass bottom. Part of the side was caved during the glass molding process. Looks like someone also molded in a plug because during the molding process an air bubble occurred or a gap in the hot glass. Scratches on the inside of the glass jug. Had received as Christmas present and didn't take it out of the box until this week to use for a party. Was I ever shocked. I would never have suspected BBB to be selling such low quality products. When I learned the price of the gift compared to other beverage jugs sold by BBB, it was obvious we got what we paid for. It was so defective I would not even give it to the Goodwill. I threw it in the trash recycling.

I received two of these Del Sol Beverage Dispensers as Christmas Gifts. I was very excited to try them out at the next family dinner over the holidays. One box had already been opened by a previous owner, and there was a crack on the top of the dispenser and a chip out of the glass around the spout. The second dispenser leaked after numerous attempts to fix it, and tightening the spout. I returned both dispensers to the store with no problems. I wanted to exchange for two more dispensers but decided against it when the display model was cracked. I was very disappointed in the quality of the dispensers.

I have had two of these and I have had to return both because they either came broken or broke immediately. The first one had a cracked (plastic) spigot so it was not possible to hold any liquid inside on account of dramatic leaking. I returned the first one and replaced it with a new one. The second one broke the very first occasion it was used as a guest opened the spigot it broke the entire spigot off sending broken glass and beverage everywhere because the glass where the spigot is is only 1mm thick. This product is terribly constructed out of cheap materials, do not purchase this.

I love the look. However, when I put the product together the spigot was broken. It was very cheaply made. I live 50 miles from the nearest Bed Bath & Beyond so it is a pain to return. I'm going to try to fine a replacement spigot instead.

I got this for a Christmas party. When I took it out of the box I noticed that it had some flaws and thought it was just the way the glass was blown. Then I went to wash it and water started gushing out of the side. Come to find out it had a hole the size of a nickle near the bottom. My party is tomorrow afternoon and the store is 30 minutes away, no pretty tea jar for my party. :(

I was so excited to find this beverage jug for such a great price. I am so impressed with the quality, sturdiness and it is exactly what I wanted. We are going to use it at my son's wedding and I had been looking for one for a couple of months but all were so much more expensive. Would definitely recommend.

After reading many of the reviews on other units like this one, it kinda scared me a bit to purchase one. But I need one, so I bought this one because it received a good review. I've used it once and I'm happy to say it works great! No leaks, the spout flow is good and not a trickle and it's a nice looking unit. The only problem is, when you rest the glass unit on the iron holder it doesn't sit exactly level (it wasn't very noticable but my hubby saw it and had to "fix" it). My hubby bent it out just a tad and after fear it would break from the bending, he just placed a small piece of cardboard between the metal holder and glass for better balance. I do love this unit and will purchase another for parties. One for iced tea the other for lemonade.

Excellent drink dispenser!!

I had been looking online for a nice drink dispenser that wasnt too overpriced when I came across this one. It's big and holds alot of drink. The only thing I think could make this better is the spout to pour faster. The spout pours slow which is great for little ones, so they don't overflow their cups. But overall I think its very pretty when using for parties, which is why I bought this one. Definately worth buying.
