Not a bad price (with 20% off coupon) this is a nice skillet. We had a recent haul of Morel Mushrooms this spring and I spent several days with this skillet. The size made it easy to cook a lot at a time. The head was acceptable but I did have to set it all the way to high to maintain a good browning temperature. I always assume 350° to fry just about anything but any below high, it seemed to have a hard time keeping the shrooms bubbling. I thought the bottom got a little hot after long time use. I recommend putting something under it if you plan on leaving it on for more than hour. I have Formica counter tops so I worry about them when high heat is involved. It cleans up easily, being able to submerge the whole thing is a real plus. Being able to cook larger quantities is too. I con't have a fry pan that will hold more than 3 pork chops. this will hold at least 4.

Great product, large enough to do a full meal or what ever you want. Had a smaller one before this one and I prefer this one for its size. Heats up quickly and evenly. There is a little vent hole in the glass cover to release the pressure. By the way love the Glass cover, did not have this with the last one. I love to see what I am cooking and how it is going without removing the cover. All of my pots and pans now have glass covers. This was just a nice added touch to this electric skillet.

.The skillet doesn't heat up evenly.I use the or a skillet at least 3-4 times a week.Found it hard to cook a whole skillet full because of the uneven heat.I also found that the temp.setting has to be turned up to the 400degs setting to get a good heat esp.when the skillet is full.After reviewing the reviews on the cuisinart skillet that will be my next purchase.There was 1 plus and that is it cleaned up easily.

I USE MY SKILLET EVERYDAY TO COOK BREAKFAST OR DINNER. .ONCE THE FOOD IS PREPARED IT IS SO EASY TO LEAVE THE FOOD TO FRY OR STEAM WITH NO MESS .THE TEMPERATURE IS SET AND VOILA. I LIKE THE WAY THE TEMP.RESETS ITSELF AND ALSO BROWNS THE MEAT LEAVING A NICE BROWN COLOR. LOVE IT.
