Horrible piece of junk

Received this as a xmas present and boy am I glad I didnt end up wasting a penny on this garbage. For the first week it worked well (not too good of signal and mirror did fog up) but it still did what it said. That all changed when it fell only 2 feet at the most and broke the radio giving off this horrible whining feedback making the shower mirror a 40 buck paper weight. I never bought this product nor I ever will. Warning to future buyers! DO NOT BUY THIS CRRAP!

I wish I had read the reviews before buying but it was a point of purchase buy at the store. It has fallen off the wall daily after only a months use and I am going to attempt to return it to BB&B today. The design is stupid. A large, heavy mirror with a 3" base suction cup that should be at least 4 times larger than it is to accommodate for weight of mirror. I agree also that the radio reception is poor.

Could not believe it when I saw this in the store, had been looking for a shower mirror with a radio with memory buttons for a while. Had purchased a few over the years, but they all broke or had problems. But when I looked online this one had very bad reviews, so did not purchase. Was surprised when my son got it for me for Christmas. Said to him, did you not see the negative reviews? Anyway decided to try it, stuck the bracket on the tile wall and it seemed like I could hang on it it was on there so good. Wary that it would fall I put some towels under it in case as I would be able to return it if it fell. well could not have been more surprised, it has not budged from when I attached it, the sound is pretty good, and the lighted mirror is great to shave by. Not sure why everyone else has so many problems.

I read and IGNORED these reviews...PLEASE do not purchase this item. I bought this for my husband as an Xmas gift. It is $40 thrown in the trash, literally, that's where it is. It fell off of the wall in the shower for the first time within a week, and then every other day thereafter. We tried different positions, spots in the shower, etc. No luck. Also, the arm isn't strong enough to hold the face of the mirror up, so you have a mirror facing the floor of the shower :-( Useless. THEN, to top it off, the radio reception is below average in my opinion. We caught about 5-7 stations, on a good day. This lasted 2 weeks and ended up in my trash bin this week. I emailed SI and it took a week to respond-they want the product mailed in-yeah right. I explained that I would not pay to ship their junk back to them after I already paid $40 for it. They replied asking for the model number and that's where we are with it. I asked after reading all of these reviews with the same issues, why they can even sell this product. We'll see the response. I wish I wouldn't have learned this one the hard way and hopefully you will not, either.

Okay radio reception and mirror was great the first month or two, it has been a year now and I have to put something on it every time in shower to see in it to shave. Never had any problems with battery life and overall it is okay, it works though and I use it every day

I should have read the reviews. Most for 1 star. The screws for the battery cover were so chintzy that the heads stripped and we couldn't even open it. So I don't even know about the suction cups, arms, etc. Didn't even get that far. Piece of garbage! And an over-priced one at that.

I wish I would have read the reviews on this item. Its the worst. It falls off the wall. Its way to heavy for the suction cup to support. Plus it just points down to the ground. Try and adjust it and it pops off the wall again. Waste of time. This product is the worst!!

I wish i had read the reviews before shelling out $40 for this piece of garbage. The weight of the radio is absolutely far too heavy for the arm. It Just floats down on the arm until the mirror is almost pointing to the floor. Unuseable right out of the bo and going back to the store.
Sad that BBB would continue to sell this thing with the reviews it's gotten. Does your buyer even read these reviews? Pull it down from the site and return it to the vendor. Come on, Bed Bath, you're better than this.

This product isn't worth the money! The mirror fogs. The "FOG-FREE SHOWER MIRROR" FOGSSSSS!!! The only reason I haven't taken it back is because my husband wants it for the radio (that we haven't had a problem with now).

Horrible! The first one I got (for Christmas) was damp within 4 days on the inside - defective seal. I exchanged it for another one. Within 2 days, the volume knob doesn't work. So now it is absolutely blaring the radio whenever I turn on the product to use the light around the mirror. Absolutely miserable experience and a truly terrible product. Please remove this from your stores and website. What a giant waste of $40.

Arm Doesn't Lock in Place

Purchased as a gift without seeing it in the store; figured Sharper Image was best brand.
Very disappointed in the arm design. In a standard height shower, the weight of the mirror isn't supported by a "lock in place" mechanism on the arm. It is just free floating. Even attached to the highest tile, the mirror itself tips forward and down.
The only other option is the "rope" feature for hanging and that interferes with the basket already handing under shower head.
Would be nice to be able to suction cup directly to shower tile without the use of the arm.
Exchanged for another brand.

This radio is too heavy for the suction cup to handle so the first time we used this, the radio fell to the floor. The fall caused some damage and the volume control stopped working. I re-hooked the suction cup without attaching the radio and waited a day (hoping it would "seat" itself) before trying again. Within a few minutes, the cup failed again and the radio fell for a second time. It no longer works at all. Do not waste your money on this radio!!

I bought this as a gift for my husband on Christmas. What a waste. I should have known because the first one I bought didn't work and I had to exchange it. This one works. But constantly falls down, I've tried everything to try and make it stay up it's simply not made well. The radio is pretty bad too, lots of static. I'm very disappointed with Sharper Image I use to love their products. Thankfully Bed Bath and Beyond has a great return policy, I opened the box and everything and they were still able to take it back.

I purchased this for my husband for $39.99 thinking it would actually be a really good one that stayed up and played the radio - WRONG! First of all you can barely figure out how to work the thing and when you do, it falls off the wall the second you walk away. Then you tr y to change the radio or time and the buttons are like a piece of plastic rubber with nothing behind them. Where are the buttons? The disappeared. There was absolutely no hope in trying to make this work. It is a piece of garbage. I returned it as soon as possible. Glad they didn't give me a hard time because I was SO SURE this was a great item that I RIPPED APART the box to get the batteries in for him. What a waste of my time and energy. Couldn't even unscrew the tiny screws to get the back off to get the batteries in, my husband had to do it when he opened it on Christmas morning.

Got this item for Xmas. One of the screws in the battery cover was already stripped. We took it back and got a new one. The new has 2 screws stripped. Returned it and BB&B staff said many of these itmes are being returned due to screw and suction issues. In fact they stated many Sharper Image products are being returned due to poor quality. After this experience and hearing BB&B rep's issues with Sharper Image, we will never buy another Sharper Image product again.

Sharper Image, what were you thinking? I don't think they actually tested this product. The long neck with the suction cup does NOT work, no matter how hard you try. The speakers are in the back, so it was designed to not be against the wall, but it sticks out FAR - and doesn't stick! I took the neck and suction cup off, and rigged it up with a good suction cup and hook and it works great. I don't think any company has perfected a good shower radio/mirror, but this one is actually great if you rig it. Sound is still okay even tho speakers are in back. I don't use the light at all, but the presets (once you get them in there!) work well & the mirror has worked really well so far. The 2 stars are for my disappointment in design, but I do like the rigged product.

When I received this as a christmas gift, I was so excited and couldn't wait to shave again. It has a light radio with presets, a clock so you can keep track of the time before work and a fog-less mirror. This is just what I asked for and my wife knew I would love it. However after trying to use it later that day, we were both sadly dissapointed. It would not stick to the wall at all. I tried it dry, wet, on the plastic shower tub, and on the dry wall. But it seems as though you would have to stick it to the wall with silicon and then screw it. It is awesome but just doesn't stay. I will be returning this for sure.

This product has really cool features, it lights up, it has a clock and radio HOWEVER it doesn't do the one thing it should...STICK TO THE WALL. Even when following the mounting instructions to the "T." Scared us when it hit the shower floor at 3am. Oh, and not to mention the fact it sticks out off the wall really far. Takes up a lot of unnessary room. Will be returning this for sure. BB&B shouldn't carry this product.
