I loved the look of this and bought one. It looks beautiful. HOWEVER the bins have a nasty habit of falling through/below onto the next level of bins. Naturally this allows breakage of anything fragile stored underneath AND lets things fall out. Tiny hands and fingers can get caught in between and although the things stored are not heavy, there will still be tears . . .

I got one of these just before my son's 2nd birthday to be ready for all the new toys about to come in and it's perfect. It was very easy to put together and it's VERY sturdy. I've now had the first one for a year and it's still like new. My son can easily access his toys and safely get the bins out. I plan to purchase a second one this year because we have too many toys and the first has worked so well.

I read a lot of mixed reviews on other sites but went ahead and gave it a shot. Not only was this simple to assemble but it is exactly what it looks to be in the picture. I'm actually glad that the crossbars are metal and just colored like wood, they are much more sturdy than I think the wood ones would be. This puts toys at my 16 month old's level, she can pick her own toy and we are beginning to teach her about putting toys back as she is finished with them. I love the independence it gives her! The buckets are sturdy and we have not had any trouble with them falling through the racks even when she is tugging on large toys trying to get them out on her own.

This looks so bright and colorful. It appears to be a wonderful storage unit. The storage part works fairly well - however and it a BIG however - the colorful baskets easily slip and fall through onto the next layer of boxes FREQUENTLY. Small toys and pieces scatter all over. Items have broken. As long as you do not mind everything tumbling out when you least expect it, well then this is a product for you. This is NOT for small children - I would be afraid something would tip, fall down through and hurt/crush their hands if their hands happened to be in between levels when a basket fell! Very disappointing product.
