This vanity has style and functionality. The zebra chair pad is a definite plus. The vanity has two drawers, two side tables (attached) and a slightly lower center area. We wish the whole frame was a bit bigger so we could have a bit more room, however, it is still an overall good value.

It is a nice product that serves the purpose well. Like others said the nuts and bolts holding the legs loosen by themselves. The remedy is to use Lok-Tite, the strongest strength on them and they will not loosen.

We bought this for our (18yr old) daughter for Christmas. When we put it together, the bench was split but figured we would gorilla glue it. After only having it 2 months (and moving it once) the leg on the table is splitting. She can't use the bench at all. If I still had the receipt and box I would take it back and try another one.

I purchased this vanity about two months ago, and I absolutely love it. It was simple to assemble, and came out of the box with no damage. I was hesitant to purchase this vanity due to some of the negative reviews on here. I am writing this review specifically to debunk all the claims about its cheap quality/instability. The stool is great, no legs are "nearly falling off." I recommend this vanity set!

My daughter wanted this for a while so I purchased it for her for Christmas. We loved the vanity and it looks. Even though I read about there being problems with the stool I went ahead with the purchase. Within 3 days after her using it one of the legs broke on the stool. I called customer service to inform them about it and with no hesitation they sent me another one...so far so good. It really is a nice looking piece of furniture and I know every girl will like it :-)

This desk is about the quality you would expect for the price. It is nice, however! I have enjoyed using it, and it seems sturdy enough.
When it first came, one of the drawers was broken. This was a big disappointment, but when I contacted Bed Bath and Beyond they had a new one shipped to me at no charge. I was highly satisfied with the customer service that I received!
Overall, a decent buy!

I created an account specifically so that I could review this vanity. I have had it for three years now. No cracked wood, no scratched surfaces, and no complaints. Many of the reviewers bashing this piece say they bought it for a preteen or teenage daughter, and I can't help but think that it has been treated roughly to result in such damage. I'm a heavy-set woman, but I've always moved the stool around carefully when sitting down or readjusting the distance between myself and the vanity and have had no issue with the legs giving way. I'm also careful when raising and lowering the mirror. I should also state that I use my vanity on a daily basis. I think it has held up beautifully through three different moves now, and we are planning to buy a second one for the guest room at our new home. I do have to tighten the screws in the legs of the stool occasionally, but as a previous reviewer stated, you get what you pay for.

I bought this vanity set based on how cute the zebra stool was. I am livid with how poor quality the stool is. It has completely broken in half and nothing can repair it. I would have to tighten the screws on them almost every single day, it broke apart and had wood splinters EVERYWHERE, and then one day my FIVE YEAR OLD daughter went to sit down on it for me to blow dry her hair and it just broke in two. THIS IS THE WORST THING I'VE EVER BOUGHT. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We purchased this for our daughter last christmas. The surface is now badly scratched from objects sliding across the surface...like her flat iron and make up...brushes and so on. It is made of particle board so now the mirror that flips up is broken where the hinge was...just a mess all the way around. Its pretty if you arent going to use it because anything set on top of this vanity will leave scratches that can not be buffed out.

This vanity is definitely cute, but the vanity bench that comes with it is very poor quality. My 15 yr old 90 lb daughter used this for a week before the legs became loose. It was impossible to secure the legs with screws, so we used wood glue (didn't work) .Exchanged the seat for a new one, same thing happened and one leg actually broke off. Don't waste your money

Bought my 14 year daughter this black vanity for her room last week. She absolutely loved it. Not to mention, the price was right. Unfortunately the quality of the stool was very poor.
My husband had to tighten the legs of the stool 3 times because the stool was not stable. Two days later one of her friends sat on the stool and one of the legs broke. My daughter and her friends are of average weight. But thats beside the point.
The stool should be able to withstand anyone sitting on it. I am very disappointed.

I signed up just to write a review on this product because of everyone elses harsh reviews. I personally love this vanity! It doubles as a desk for me. I store my laptop, makeup and some papers in the middle. Store other small things like ponytails and bobby pins in little compartments in the drawers. I've had it for over a year and not one complaint! I use it everyday for makeup and hair. I use it often as my desk. I think it's sturdy! The only thing I've noticed that if you don't put the mirror up all the way it can fall down I guess due to force? But other then that I love it! And I would recommend it :)

I purchased this vanity even after reading all the bad reviews. This vanity costs only $150! And when you use the 20% off coupon that Bed Bath and Beyond sends out monthly, both email AND mail, it only costs $120!! You get what you pay for. You just have to treat it a little more delicately than you would a $600 vanity. If you want something that can withstand constant wiggling and scooting then you should pay more. I have had no problem with this piece and even my 8 year old boy hasn’t broken any of it yet. I would recommend this vanity to anyone that couldn’t afford higher quality furniture….and…just because it’s adorable!

This vanity didn't even last two weeks. I assembled the whole thing and then discovered the mirror was cracked, but that can be replaced so I decided to keep it. Two weeks later I was sitting on it straightening my hair when the back leg broke out from under me. I ended up with a huge welt on my leg. I emailed customer service and didn't receive a response. I called customer service and was put on a waiting list for them to call me back (which they never did). I ended up buying gorilla glue and gluing it back together. A month later I finally got an email telling me I could return it at any store. Not really helpful, I already knew that much. Definitely not worth the money. You're better off building your own.
