Disapppointing Dish Rack

Only plates stand up in the slots in the mat. Everything else needs to be carefully supported by the sides of the dish rack. The silverware holder and mat stained within the first week.

If I was single and did very little cooking, the rack wold be great. It is very well made and sits up so that excess water runs into the sink. I wish I could buy this rack in a larger size!

I put my condo on the market and needed something clean and smaller, and this is wonderful - looks nice, and does the job. It doesn't hold a lot, but I didn't want a lot of dishes sitting on the counter anyway. I like the simple lines and clean look.

This dish rack is the perfect size for my counter top and looks sleek. I'm very content with this purchase. The only problems to be aware of is that the bamboo portion quickly looked washed out and the bottom portion is hard to clean.

Like the size and simple style, compact but does the job. I like that they have upgraded the water drain to stainless, my first one, (lasted 3 yrs.), that was exactly like this one, drain was plastic and it cracked. Construction of product is good, easy to clean, would recomend it.

Base is hard to clean

This would be 5 stars, except for one thing: the base and spout are hard to clean. Eventually it gets kind of grimy looking where the water drains, but it's partly blocked by the grooves that hold the dishes, and there's no way to take apart the base to clean it. I tried using a toothbrush between the grooves, but that doesn't get the job done. Additionally, hard to explain but each narrow groove is hollow underneath, so over time you get moisture buildup underneath, which is again impossible to clean, so my base has turned yellow-ish.. Have had mine for years, it's a convenient size, but I finally just broke off the drainage part because it was grimy. (which half defeats the purpose of this thing). Am looking for a different model that's easier to clean.

Initially I was very happy with this purchase but by the time I realized that it almost impossible to clean thoroughly water dripping passage, attached to the base plate because it was not removable from base plate.Mold started forming in passage and once I insert the brush to clean, it broke. It is very unhygienic to use rack with that mold
