Neat Product but needs improvements

Just like another customer, I loved this cork holder and decided to take a chance despite the reviews on shipping. Although, the packaging looked substantial we too received the item with the bottom corner smashed. Because I like it so much we have decided to try and camulflauge the corner with paint. If I had more conficence in the shipping I would send back but the replacement might be even worse. Have not tried to put a cork in yet so not sure if it they will fit and like other reviews the mounting hardware is poorly designed BD&B, please correct these issues, also would be nice to be able to use coupon codes online especially on these items that we can't purchase in store.

Poorly Made Product

I read a couple of bad reviews on this product, but decided to take a chance on it anyway because it looked really cool. Well now I see what all the negative reviews were about. I received the item very fast, which was the only positive. However, it was damaged upon delivery as a large chunk of the back was missing. This was likely done during delivery because broken up pieces were in the bubble wrap. It was packaged fairly well so I was a little surprised. Since it was the back, I could have easily kept it and nobody would notice it when it was on display. However, I paid for this and should not have to settle for a defective product. So I returned it and asked for a new one. Much to my dismay, the replacement was delivered damaged as well. And this time it was worse because the broken pieces were on the front! Again, this was probably done during delivery, but for a product to be packed so well and damaged during delivery twice, that obviously says something about the quality of the product. Needless to say, I returned it again but this time I asked for a full refund. I would definitely not recommend this product to anyone.

Wonderful purchase

I bought this item for my husband, since he loves collecting wine bottle corks. He's saved any from wine he drinks, so I thought he needed a special spot to show them off. We both absolutely love this! Even some of our odd shaped corks fit just fine! It looks great in our home and is a great conversation piece!

The first time I received this off my registry, I had to return it because the entire middle section was pushed out from the frame due to excessive foam. I returned it at the store and had a new one sent. The second one was no better, the entire back is cracked from top to bottom.

Poorly Designed

Looks great and the corks fit well, however the product is VERY heavy and the mounting is faulty. There were two holes drilled into the back with metal mounting hooks glued around, these hooks broke off very easily. Also, the distance between these holes was only 12" which does not meet the standard distance between wall studs. Because the product is so heavy it would seem you would want to mount it into two wall studs which is not possible. Overall I would not recommend this product.
