I have been married for 45 years. :During those years I have had my share of roasting pans. Large enamel and non stick. I have burned my hands so many times on movable handels and small side handels.
When I saw this roaster I was impressed by the large side handels and the weight and size.
I came home and tried my first meal in it a roasted chicken with potatoes. It was amazing. Chicken moist and tender. Potatoes roasted perfectly. Gravy to die for.
Clean up was a breeze. Soapy water. It looks like new.
I hope to use this weekly and can't wait for Thanksgiving. I'm sure it will be my best turkey ever.

This is a perfect size - roasts one whole chicken without feeling like the pan is way bigger than it should be. I can also fit two whole chickens in without the rack. It is a little snug but it still roasts them great. Pan cleans easily. Really the best size, any bigger and it would only be useful when roasting a massive turkey. I use this pan almost weekly. Fits easily in the dishwasher, the rack wipes clean easily - very useful pan!

My Calphalon roasting pan arrived soon after I ordered it, just in time for a Xmas rib roast. Not only is it GORGEOUS to look at, but the handles make it easy to lift in and out of the oven, and the sturdy rack is truly non-stick. After the roast was done and resting, I made au jus on the stove top. The roaster took the heat without distorting, and most amazing, it cleaned up with just a bit of detergent and a swipe of the dish brush. It looked like new. Of course this was just after one use, but even so, I expect it to give me many years of satisfaction in performance and appearance.

We registered for this item and received it. I wanted to have "thanksgiving" as our first holiday to bring the families together after we were married. I did some research and this roaster got pretty good reviews.
We had a 22lb turkey and we thought that the pan seemed just a smidge small....but once we pulled that turkey out and tasted it...OMG!! No spilling, No mess. Very durable!! When I started to put away everything I noticed on the box that it says up to 18lb turkey. It cleaned very nicely and so weird smear marks like you see on some pans. Needless to say it cooked wonderfully and cannot wait to use it again!! I am so glad we registered and received this item!!!
