Easy to use and clean. Like the two paddles, mixes and kneads perfectly every time. Besides making bread have made pizza dough, so easy that now have pizza night at least once a week. Next going to make dough for breakfast pastry. Hands down if you are looking for a bread machine this is the one you should buy!!!

I love my new Zojirushi Bakery Supreme Bread Maker. It is so easy to use. I've had a Hamilton Beach bread maker before, which I loved, but I ruined the basket by accidentally immersing the basket in water, which locked up the mechanism. Getting replacement parts was not worth the money, so I bought the Zojirushi. I absolutely love it, and I will NEVER immerse the basket.

This bread machine is wonderful. I can't say enough good things about it. My breads come out perfect. You can set it to light, medium or dark. As well, it makes jams. I love that the loaves come out easily and in the normal loaf shape. (My mom's machine makes loaves that are round.) Mine came with an instructional cd. Just add the ingredients in the proper order and turn it on. It's so easy. The directions are simple and there are many different options. I love making pizza dough. It's so convenient. This really is a nice machine.

Just got it yesterday. I had many different brands, cheep and simp to very old.
I was so excited so as soon as I washed the container and started to make first recipe Russian K bread, thought different than all the other machine recipes, salt and sugar and butter was later after the flour, topped it all butter and nuts and yeast on the top?? thought that was strange crossed my fingers and turned it on and than watch the DVD(DVD showed how they all the ing goes on the different corners of that pan after the flour). Result still came out perfect and later I made croissant roll recipe but it's a butter roll recipes not a croissant.

This is my first bread machine. I have read about it and wanted one for many years. It does a great job. I did buy a bread machine book to help me have more recipes and they work well.

I now own 2 of these because I love them and quite frankly, one loaf at a time is just not enough. I love giving these fresh loaves as gifts. I make 2 loaves at a time. Whenever something has failed, its user err.
I've had times when the machine needed servicing but not from defect but abuse and the folks there were more than helpful getting me up and going again.
The heavy duty motor holds up to tough jobs. If you are wanting a serious bread machine, this is worth the investment.

My husband purchased this 10 years ago and it still works great. The inside looks a little rough, but the bread pan is still not stick and the bread comes out looking and tasking great. In the beginning I baked a loaf a day. My mother came up with a recipe adaptation that I use. On the weekends I would make up the dry packages and leave a recipe for my kids so they could start the bread in the morning before school and set it to come out just in time for dinner. We all loved it. Now it is just me and my husband and we only use it a few times a month but it still works as good as it did the first time I used it. I am now thinking about buying a new one and handing this one off to my daughter.

I purchased a Zoji BBCC-X20 (predecessor) in late 2009. Terrible machine. Overcooks, dries out contents and almost burns crust. EVERYTIME. Paid for a fancy dough maker. I contacted Zoji and they told me I was overloading, to fluff and measure flour with nested measure cup or weigh it. I've been baking bread for many years and knew how to measure flour. I have tried this machine multiple times and it has not baked a decent loaf yet. Like I said, a fancy dough maker. Sure wish I could get my money back.

Hundreds of Loaves and Still Strong!

This bread maker has been in use at my house for over 7 years. I make bread at least once a week, sometimes twice. I also use it to mix all my dough for rolls and pizza. The bread pan has definitely had some wear on it, and the nonstick surface doesn't work very well near the paddles. A helpful hint is to set the timer to take the paddles out before the last rise and baking, so the bread won't get stuck in the pan when it is complete. I admit that is a pain. But after 7 years, it is probably time for a new pan! My mom has had her machine for even longer and uses it just as much and we've both loved them!

Bread Pan Leaks After 45 Loaves

PostedApril 5, 2011

Bottom Line: The bread pan developed a leak after about 45 loaves and Zojirushi would not agree to replace the pan because the warranty had recently expired.
I purchased the Zojirushi and enjoyed using it for approximately 1 year. I carefully read all the instructions and always made sure to clean the inside of the baking pan with lukewarm water, mild soap, and a non-abrasive sponge in order to protect its no-stick surface. I made approximately one loaf each week that I was home. I made the same wheat bread recipe every time. However, the machine started to malfunction after making about 45 loaves. The finished loaves began to be very dry and sometimes the machine would produce hardened dough rather than bread. I then realized that the bread pan was leaking at one of the rotating shafts and the no-stick surface was coming warn just below both kneading blades. If I filled the pan with a cup of water and set it on a counter, approximately 1 tablespoon of water would leak out in just one minute. Clearly this leak was the source of the reason the machine was failing.
Zojirushi’s customer service representative explained to me that the material used to seal the rotating shaft typically deteriorates after about 18 months of use and results in the symptoms that I was experiencing. My interpretation of this statement is that the product is flawed by design, and that my experience was not unusual in any way. In a polite tone the customer service representative explained that the warranty had expired. He recommended that I purchase a new baking pan for $60 and offered to waive the shipping costs. He would not respond to my question about whether it was reasonable for a customer to expect an appliance, if well cared for, to last more than one year.
I would not recommend that others purchase this appliance if they would like it to operate for more than one year. If you are okay with a bread machine lasting only a short time I would consider buying one of the lower-priced models made by another manufacturer. The Zojirushi BBCC-X20 bread machine, however, is a failed product.

$$$ Bread Machine

The two times I have used this machine it made really good bread. Love the crust control and the normal shaped bread. However if you are a person like myself who buys this type of appliance uses it rarely it is too expensive. Average price for a loaf in my house so far 115.00. I think all the machines do about the same as far as bread making.
