Mildly disappointed for the cost. I can hang most of my clothes (ladies sm) but can not hang much of my husbands items as the rack is too narrow to hang mens xl shirts. If I hang his shirts on hangers, the rack is then too short and the shirts hang on the floor. Built well but the designers should have made it a bit wider and/or taller.

Real Simple Drying Rack

I just set up my new drying rack to dry some clothes and was very disappointed. While the rack is very easy to set up and maneuver, it is not very large. It's advertised to hang beach towels! Maybe hand towels but nothing bigger. This is only good for small items such as lingerie, socks and small children clothing. I was hoping to use it for my kids sports uniforms, but this isn't going to work. $39.99 wasted....UGH!

This is a great drying rack! I usually buy the cheaper wooden ones, but decided to splurge on this as it looked like it held a lot more clothes. I air dry probably 3/4 of our color load and it all fit with room to spare even! It is very sturdy also which is nice as it doesn't collapse all of the time like cheaper ones. Well worth the $.

Don't flatten the lower shelf!!

When I first opened this up, I thought the lower shelf with the mesh cover was supposed to be flat as it looks in the picture. I pressed on the sides very gently because it didn't seem to be very sturdy, and sure enough one of the hinges broke immediately. I'm very disappointed, although I'm not sure what purpose the shelf would have served if it were bowed in the middle . Now it's somewhat dangerous to have the pieces in the middle sticking out... ugh.

i got this rack when i realized how expensive it was to run our dryer last summer. it's a great design and holds tons of stuff. i have a high capacity washer and it can fit almost a whole load. it is a little narrow but it works great for all my kids' clothes. i have another one for bath sheets and jeans that is a bit wider. i am going to buy a second one so i can dry multiple loads at one time.
it is light so i can move it around if necessary. i use it inside in the winter and outside in the summer. it folds virtually flat so it is easy to store, too. not that i ever get a chance to store it with three boys!
you do need to be somewhat careful with it because it isn't incredibly sturdy (you shouldn't lift it by the hanging bars, i have broken one that way), but treated right it works just fine.

This drying rack is THE PERFECT SIZE for ANYTHING! Delicates, pants, EVERYTHING fits perfectly. The mesh bottom is GREAT for block drying, and it folds easily to store which is perfect for my one-bedroom apartment! I definitely recommend this product!

Pros:
-collapsable/store-able
-the mesh drying rack underneath is useful
-can fit a lot of clothes

Cons:
-overly complex design
-narrow design (not good for wide items like towels), the max width of the drying bars can support a large t-shirt
-if you want to move it around, you have to pick it up from the apex of the rack, otherwise the "wings" fall down and you have to readjust everything again. so annoying!
-worst thing: the hanging bars are just breaking off! the bars are not fused well to the frame so all I did was lift something off quickly and they just came off. Two are missing now and I'm sure more will come off soon...

Summary: cool design, but cheaply made
