My husband and I bought this item thinking that it was going to be well worth the almost $100...we were wrong. We're finding that whenever we put a lot of garbage in, the bags don't stay in the plastic container and we're constantly having to re-fix them. Also, we seem to fill up this garbage container faster than our original, cheap, plastic one, which we are actually starting to miss. All in all...if we had known from the start that there really is nothing all that superb about this item (other than it looks really nice), we most likely would have reconsidered spending the amount of money that we did on it.

We bought this to keep our Bichon out of the garbage - I think it would keep a Rottweiler out! Quiet close, easy to empty, and beautiful. The handles are handy if you need to move it while full. I was concerned that the close mechanism is plastic, but it has a 10 year warranty. We are very glad that we decided to splurge a bit on this one.
