Very disappointed

I upgraded my existing scale because I was looking for one that would be easy to read, even with a dinner plate on it and one that would have the ability to measure liquids.
Pros:
1. Can measure, ounce, grams, mL and liquid ounces.
2. Very easy to read.
Unfortunately those two pro's don't discount the three very big negatives.
Negatives:
1. The readout and buttons are also weight sensitive. So if you're measure shredded cheese and some cheese lands on the readout or the buttons it will count on the weight, just like if you put it on the section where the plate is.
2. The readout changes. I just weighed some croutons. I weighed until the 7g came up. Then 30 seconds later it changed to 8g. When I went to the fridge to get dressing and came back it said 9g. So either there's a huge delay in the readout, which is very inconvenient, or the air movement is adding to the weight.
3. The buttons are very hard to push. I can't tell you how many times I had to push the unit button to get it to actually change units. The same for changing it to zero.
At this point I will absolutely be returning the item.
