Simple to use and easy to clean. Just keep the bowl in the freezer and it's always ready to make ice cream! I purchased an additional bowl, so there's always a cold one ready to go. All you do is rinse the used bowl well and dry it before placing it back in the freezer. Ice cream is ready to eat in less then a half hour.

I received the older model a few years ago as a gift and have been thrilled with it ever since. Anyone who has problems with "soupy" product may be using a flavoring with alcohol or some form of it in it. I have never, ever had a problem. Love this product so much I am giving this new model to my daughter and her boyfriend as their holiday gift.

I purchased this back in August. I have successfully made many batches of wonderful ice cream. It is so easy. I use canned condensed milk with evaporated milk and 1 cup milk,add flavoring, coffee, w/choc chips, strawberries/cream cheese, choc, fresh peach, or just vanilla. Wonderful. Haven't bought store bought ice cream since my purchase....Thickens every time. 15 - 20 minutes tops. Everything needs to be cold. Made 3 batches in one day. Love it. Would recommend to everyone. Buying one for son for Xmas present....

I have used this several times, exactly as directed using the recipes in the book and also my own tried and trusted recipes and it is a total disaster. All I am getting is a milky soup. I have placed the bowl in the back of the freezer for over 3 weeks and it still does not chill enough to make ice cream. Almost everyone else here seems to like it so maybe I got a defective bowl.

I read about making ice cream from frozen banana slices, but I wanted to do it right. This thing is AWESOME. Four very ripe bananas (sliced into 1-inch coins and frozen for 2 or 3 hours), 1/2 c. milk, a tablespoon of vanilla -- blend in a blender on high for 2 minutes, then get your ice cream maker together and pour it in. Twenty minutes later, VOILA! If you want, near the end, throw in some really good chocolate, finely diced. You can't go wrong with this. Keep the bowl in the freezer and it's always ready to go!

I absolutely love this ice cream maker and I think my family loves it even more. The cylinder stays in my freezer, so we are ready to make ice cream everyday if wanted. Our favorite recipe: one small can of evaporated milk, one can of sweetened condensed milk, 2 Tbs. of vanilla extract, and then fill the remainder of the cylinder with milk. We can hardly wait after that for it to finish.
I had a manual Dovier prior to this one, but the automatic turn one is so much nicer.

What a great machine! So easy to use. My only complaint is that the bowl takes so long to freeze that I'll be buying another one because the product it makes is AMAZING. We took a trip to the East Coast and had water ice (in a 4 day trip we had it 5 times), when we got home I knew I had to figure out a way to replicate the flavor and consistency at home. With this machine I can experiment to my hearts content. The kids are thrilled and I know exactly what we're eating because I am able to control the product. Such a great purchase!

OMG!!! I bought this ice cream maker for myself for Christmas, wasn't sure if I was really going to use it. I finanly did about 2.5 months ago. Now I can't stop using it. I love it!!!! In fact, in my frezzer I have 7 different types of sorbets and 2 different types of ice cream, and I am making a new batch of ice cream (fresh cherry & chocolate) tonight. The recipe book is a good starting point, but find a ice cream/sorbet cookbook or just be creative on your own as I am. It as amazing what flavors you can create. It is best to use fresh fruit to creat the sorbets. This machine is so easy to use!!! I highly recommend it!!! I need to buy an extra freezer bowl so I can make more varieties. And in turn, I guess I need to buy more storage containers also. LOL Bon Apetite!!!

I love this ice cream maker it makes great ice cream but the 1 thing to remember is that you have freeze the freezer bowl 24 hours ahead before you make the ice cream mix otherwise the mix will get old before the bowl is frozen

This little machine makes Ice cream, frozen yogurt and Sorbet. I've been sick since I got it, so haven't tried it. I have decided first thing to make will be chocolate sorbet, because I like chocolate. I really want to make more frozen yogurt than the other 2 things.
