I love my steamer

I make my own dog food. In the past I had a pot on the stove to cook the variety of ingredients it contains. Now I cook each one seperately as before but leave it up to my steamer rice cooker to do the cooking without me having to babysit it on the stove. Love it !!!!!!!

Dual Use

I like the dual use, have limited amount of countertop space. I made brown rice yesterday, my first. It took over an hour to cook (insructions said 25 to 30 mins for 4 cups of cooked rice). I followed the directions, used the measuring cup. Made wonderful rice, will try again today and cut back on water by 1/3 as some one recommended.

This cooker is really easy to use, beside rice I cooked soups and even chili in it.
I'm not really pleased though how my rice turns out every single time. It gets burned a little, and gets very soggy. Even Basmati rice gets sticky. First I thought the quality of the rice was the problem, but I tried different brands and types, and the result is always the same.
I still like this machine.

I have never used a steamer before but decided after being on vacation where it was used everyday to purchase one. I will never make vegetables any other way then in this steamer. They are perfectly cooked every time and water does not seep out of the steamer like some do. I love this one and would absolutely recommend it to anyone that plans to purchase one.

This works great for making brown rice. Takes a few tries to perfect it, but by the third use I had it perfect. The only thing is I wish the steaming basket wasn't plastic and I wish the holes in it were smaller because sometimes food falls through.

My mom bought this just a couple months ago while I was visiting home. We are a major rice eating family and usually cook rice in a pressure cooker or boil it. This is the first time we tried a rice cooker, and had the best results ever!!
We'll never go back to the pressure cooker or boiling.. the rice in the rice cooker was cooked perfectly, no burnt rice, and you dont even have to watch it constantly! Kept it nice and warm till dinner time..the rice wasnt sticky or wet at all.. it was PERFECT!! so happy with it! i'm definitely getting one for myself..right now in fact! :)
If you eat rice on a regular basis, you will not regret investing in this great little kitchen essential!!

I love this. This is the first rice cooker that i have used that didn't " burn" the rice to the bottom. Even a little bit. I love that i can reset it and get home to rice being done. I also thought that it was great that it tells you how to prepare packaged rice mixes as well. I would the only thing so far that don't like it the instruction booklet is a little difficult to understand but you can figure it out. The pros i find is that i can steam veggies, do rice either white or whole grain and not have it stick to the bottom and then there is the feature of being able to do a delay start. Love it. Would recomment to . Now i have only had it a month but i have used it almost every day
