I've Had This Pillow For Well Over a Year. When I First Got It, Yes, It Was Stiff. But The More You Use It, The Softer It Becomes. I Use It For Long Car/Plane Trips By Placing It On My Shoulders Against The Window. It Adsorbs The Bumps & Jolts NICELY & You Don't End Up With a Stiff Neck! It's GREAT For Hotels, Sleep Overs To Just Watching TV. You'll Simply LOVE It :)

Not great but not bad

I purchased this pillow for my 5+ hr flight. I have to say that i was not as pleased as i would have like to been. You can not manipulate this pillow as much as you think. When the pillow was bent it was not comfortable. I ended up leaving it flat and just rest my head back. It did however feel nice when placed behind my back.

ordered this pillow and the Samsonite bead half moon shaped pillow. This full circle one was the least favorite. Folding in half for neck pillow was uncomfortable and wasnt helpful for back, either.

Sleep on overnight flights

If you put down your tray table and wrap this around your arm, you can lay down your head and actually sleep! I cannot sleep sitting up, but with this wonderful pillow, it's not a problem. I also use it as lumbar support on long trips when my back starts to bother me. Am ordering two more!

Made Me Heal Faster

I had sinus surgery and this pillow saved my life. It supported my neck and my head so that I was able to rest on my back comfortably and not worry about my head falling to one side or another. I would sleep with it on the couch, or in my bed and it gave me just enough support and elevation and was super comfortable. It was also awesome in the car for support to and from doc appts. I have taken this on planes and use it at work for lumbar support.

Every time I visit my friend she raves about how she can use the Total Pillow in so many ways. She uses it now as a pillow to help her back while sitting. She has used it as a pillow to sit on at home and in the car. It is so flexable and can be manipulated to fit comfortable anywhere.

Be aware of the knockoffs

First off I gotta say that the pillows from BBB are not the same as on TV, they are definitely smaller, and I guess that's what the other reviewers are noticing. Ok, at least they sell them cheaper than they do online and you don't have to wait a month to get them. I purchased a Total Pillow three days ago, and it does everything that's supposed to: it twists, bends, etc., not bad in spite of the difference in size to the original.
So I went to buy two more today. I don't know if it's just this shipment, but these two I got were knockoffs. About an inch smaller than the first one, a lot less filler, and they don't even twist or bend. So I went to another BBB store that's closer to my home to exchange them and see if I could find a couple like the original I got three days ago. I looked through a dozen of them and was able to find two that at least were the same size and bent a little better, but most of them were a piece of trash.
Come on, BBB, You are a classy store. Don't do this kind of thing to your faithful customers. I'm just grateful for your return policy at this point, because I've had a couple of bad experiences lately.

Have traveled now in many cars, 4 planes and 1 train with this pillow for 4 months. It is a good product. I especially like the way the hole in the middle fits right over the handle of my carry-on bag and how the pillow folds in half . But I always find it too small to enable a genuinely comfortable rest. Bottom line - I wish it were about 30% larger.

I was so excited to purchase my total pillow until I actually tried it! II was so disappointed. It totally pushes your head forward and it's just uncomfortable, I use it as a seat cushion, but it get uncomfortable even using it that way!
I end up buying myself the Simple Pillow by method simple, It has worked wonders! The simple Pillow is the best travel pillow by far.
The total pillow should be re-named to the total worthless pillow =/
