I purchased this for my entertainment center in the living room. Beautiful. I'm sorry about the others bad experience. I use battery operated tea lights in mine that automatically come on every evening. It's gorgeous.

The quaility of this item is abysmal. The wave base had so many defects as other reviewers stated. Returned for exchange and all the stock the store had were the same. The made in china says it all!!.

For the price I paid for this item, it should have been made in the USA. There would have been better quality control before being released to the public. The votives were OK... and the metal wave was OK, although the middle leg did not touch; and the round votive holders themselves were not aligned correctly yet passed inspection with three out of five being un-level... causing the the votives to be obviously mis-aligned. I thought Mikasa had higher standards then this. Going back to B&B to go through any other leftover boxes to hopefully find one good one out of the bunch. If none exists... send them back to China.

I am a Mikasa Collector I bought this product and had to take back to the store 3 times. It is a beautiful piece but was very unhappy with the base I feel it cheapens the beauty of the glass votives but I kept the item as it is unique and fit the decor of my living room.

I ordered this online, and it was received promptly. The outer box was barely sealed, but as i read previous reviews the other day, I see that the outer box was not the root of my problem.
When we opened the inner carton, we also found bubbles and knicks in the candle holder. I ended up taking it back to a BB&B store, and asked if I could see another. The salesman was happy to assist; luckily the first one we opened was fine.
So I made a simple exchange. It seems like a hit or miss with this item.

I received this centerpiece as a bridal shower gift. I was nervous to register for it due to the problems other buyers have had, but I am so happy I kept it on my registry. It is a very beautiful piece. It was delivered in the mail and came in perfect condition. Give it a shot!

I had this item ordered because they were out of stock at the store. They were really nice and and gave me free shipping plus my 20% coupon. I was still a little hesitant to order, because of the reviews I had read. I just wanted to see it and inspect it first! However, I really wanted this, so I just chanced it! The package arrived in a timely mannor and I really couldnt be more pleased, it is Beautiful! I had no devaults in this whatsoever! Its perfect and I love it!

I bought this item after seeing it in the store. I got it home and, like another review said, it was crimped everywhere, had bubbles and dents. I took it back to exchange it thinking maybe I just picked out a bad one. An employee and I opened all 8 that they had in stock and they were all in poor condition. Needless to say, I got my money back.

I really like this centerpiece for our mantel. My only complaint is that I wish it was longer, maybe 36 inches long would be better for the mantel or a longer dining table.
I like the contemporary look and the weight of the pieces too. Very attractive when lit.

Wish I had taken the time to go on line and read the reviews before I purchased this item. “It'sjustme" hit this one on the head. What makes it worse for me is I actually saw this in the store on display, shame on Bed, Bath and Beyond. I would've never purchased this item if the display had looked like what we pulled out of the box. Unfortunately this was a Christmas present and we were both very disappointed when it came out of its box. We will not even waste our time trying to exchange this item for another. Hopefully we can find something else in the store to replace it. Mikasa has really missed on this one. This is my first bad experience with Bed, Bath and Beyond and I am only holding them slightly accountable for this one.

I have to say ... I was truly disappointed with this product. I thought it was absolutely beautiful from the picture on the box. It was to be the perfect accent to my living room coffee table. However, when I got it home and opened the box, there was no way I could put this out on display. The metal edges to the "wave" were all crimped and uneven. It looked terrible. I figured it must have been a fluke and went back to the store to exchange it. Wiser this time around, I opened the remaining boxes on the shelf to make sure the one I picked didn't have the same defect ... to my disappointment, EVERY single one of them had the same defect.
So ... while it looks beautiful on the box, the actual craftmanship of the item was poor.
