Has the ability to juice everything from fruits and vegetables to wheatgrass. The heavy-duty, single gear masticating Omega 8006 features the new GE-Ultem© auger, a stone-mill-like screw which is 8 times stronger than other single auger juicers. It turns at a low 80 RPM's to ensure that the maximum amount of enzymes, vitamins and minerals are captured during juice making. It features no heat build up and continuous juicing with automatic pulp ejection. The low speed prevents foam buildup. It includes 6 nozzles (caps) to extrude pasta shapes and an efficient juicing screen for soft and firm produce. Measures 15" W x 11.25" H x 7.25" L. Chute opening 1.5" by 1.5". Voltage: 120V/60Hz. I bought a breville fountain plus which I bought almost 2 years ago. I bought this juicer and thought I did a lot of reviews and it was good for the price. I also bought it 2 years before watching the movie "fat sick and nearly dead". Fast forward 2 years and that juicer was waisting a lot of money. The pulp would come out like juice. So I finally decided to get serious about my health and get ANOTHER juicer. After doing reviews on this juicer and the Omega ert, I decided to go with this. I AM IN HEAVEN. This juicer makes DOUBLE WHAT THE BREVILLE FOUTAIN PLUS MAKES.....SORRY BUT TRUE.

If you looking to change your lifestyle and your going to acutally use the juicer this is the best choice. The feeding shoot is small so you do have to chop up your veggies but clean up takes 2 minutes literally. With the breville juicer it took literally 10 to 20 minutes of clean up. INVEST IN YOUR HEALTH...get the most bang for your buck.

ALSO this juicer makes wonderful sorbet, coconut oil, coconut cream, pasta etc. Wonderful for a raw and plant based house holds...

I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS JUICER...SERIOUSLY

We reviewed several juicers before settling on the Omega 8006. This juicer is great at juicing greens, like kale, spinach and roman lettuce.

The best part is the clean up. With the Omega 8006 it takes under five minutes. Which is great if you are doing early morning juices, plus it has little noise while operating.

Recommend this to anyone looking to start juicing. Plenty of videos on YouTube that can help you in deciding the best one for you.

This is my first juicer. I purchased it based on the recommendation of a niece who did a lot of research before deciding on this product. I'm very impressed with it. As indicated by others, the dryness of the pulp indicates how thoroughly the machine is doing it's job. It is very easy to clean and is an attractive addition to our kitchen. I couldn't be more pleased and would highly recommend this product to others.

I am new to juicing and I love this juicer! It is a perfect newbie purchase! I highly recommend it. It is so easy to clean and very quiet. I don't mind needing to cut up the produce and it makes delicious juice. As long as you put soft things in followed by harder produce, you will run into no troubles.

Great Product

I never do reviews but thought I should for this. I have tried Centrifugal Juicers in the past and didn't stick with them because one they were better for fruit which was very costly because of how much fruit it takes to make a small amount of juice and two I can not do too much fruit right now due to the sugar content. I have a chronic health problem and still wanted the benefits of juicing so I researched it a lot more and decided on the masticating juicer and am very happy! This juicer so far is great after 2 weeks of using every day twice a day. It is easy to set up, use and cleans quick. Also is not too loud. So far I have done veggies, fruits and wheat grass and am very pleased that I got it and would recommend over the centrifugal because with this you not only get more beneficial nutrients, you can juice veggies and so many other things most centrifugal types can not. There are still attachments I have not used but will update when I do.

A great, really powerful juicer, with two flaws

I really do love my Omega 8006 juicer. So far, it has handled everything I've thrown into it with the greatest of ease. Even the pulp that comes out of the end of it is dry to the touch. I've made several really delicious juices with it.

The only flaws that I've observed now that I've used it quite a bit are:

1) the feed hole is too small. I really wish the feed hole was a little bigger in diameter; it would make feeding unruly greens like kale and spinach into the juicer so much easier. That's what makes preparing the juice take so long, is shoving a few leaves at a time through the small opening. If it was big enough to drop a small fistful of greens into, preparing my juice might take 4-5 minutes instead of 15-20.

2) The spout on the juice receptacle is clumsy. You'd think it was a pour spout, judging by its shape, but it's really not. It's just a curved lip designed to fit into the gap between the machine's two front legs. I have yet to pour from it without making a huge mess. I now do it over the sink, losing about 1/10th of my juice.

If they fixed these two defects, it would be the perfect machine.

The Omega 8006 juicer is a powerhouse and so versatile. We bought it to replace our previous juicer but it does so much more. Here are some things we've tried with the juicer:
Juicing - both hard & soft fruits/vegetables. The prep work takes a little longer than our old juicer because the feeder tube is smaller, but the juice is great! We've even stored it for a day before drinking it and it was still delicious
Making Salsa - we just threw tomatoes, cilantro, onion, and garlic in the machine and out came homemade delicious salsa
Almond Flour - almonds in, almond flour out (I guess if you add a little oil, you can make almond butter but I haven't tried yet)
Frozen Dessert - frozen berries, frozen banana - ran threw the juicer 2x's = delicious & healthy!

Clean up is so easy with this machine too!

This is the best! Clean-up is a breeze. It turns frozen strawberries into sorbet, juice has NO foam, pulp is dry! I purchased another brand of juicer that was a centrifugal type and the juice was very foamy. My next purchase was an Omega VRT juicer and as much as I liked it, clean-up wasn't fun and it was too tall for my counter situation. You will love this juicer. If you have Bbnb coupons texted to you, you can use it on this purchase.

I have had this juicer for about 1 month. Used 20% off coupon, so got a great deal. It works well, pulp is really dry. Only complaint is hard to clean the screen. Have used for apple, orange, and carrot juice so far. Looking forward to using to make frozen desserts, nut butter, and pasta soon. Easy to assemble, and cleaning takes a few minutes, but the health benefits are worth it. Confident in purchase from BBB and manufacturer with a 15-year warranty. Really feel you get what you pay for, and kitchen is place to spend money.

I used a centrifugal juicer for a few years, and bought the 8006 to replace it when it wore out. I don't plan to have to replace this one for the next 15 years due to the manufacturer's warranty. It gets more juice out of the produce than my old one did, and it's WAY easier to clean (like 5 minutes). I love it.

I just started juicing two months ago. I had done research on all types of juicer on the market and this Omega 8006 just keep getting the highest ratings from everywhere I looked. Well after two months of use everyday I understand why. I have juice everything from citrus to berries to greens and the thing is amazing. Pulp is always dry and have yet had any clogs with the machine. Putting the machine together to juice and tear down for clean up is so easy and quick. Another cool thing is it comes with extra nozzles for making breads sticks and nut butters, I have not used them yet but plan to in the near future. If your just starting out juicing like myself and doing a life change then spend the money and get this juicer don't look at any other ones. Juice for you health n' life will get better each and everyday.

Great Juice Quality

Being a newbie to the juicer market, I originally bought one of the high end centrifugal juciers based on all the positive reviews. It seemed to do a good job on most fruits and hard veggies, or so I thought.
About 3 months in, the juice strainer cracked right down the side, and I decided that anything that expensive shouldn't last less than it its messly 1 year warrenty, and i returned it to BBB, no questions asked and picked up the 8006!
Wow, I mean what a difference in the quality of the juice. It just seems to be a more full-bodied juice, with very little oxidation or pulp (i normally forgo the screen). Does a great job on almost everything, espeically the leafy greens, and I haven't really seen much of a difference in yield on softer fruits. Clean-up time is cut in half, and best of all, it comes with a 15-year warrenty! If you're on the fence like i was, save the hassel of having to return a product, and just get this one!

Best juicer so far

I have used this juicer 3 times a week for a month and love it ! I have been juicing for 10 years and needed a serious upgrade.
I used to have a cheap centrifugal and it was loud and pulp was always wet and would get stuck inside if I juiced more than one serving with out stopping to take apart and empty. I was always buying $ 6 juices at health food store .
I then bought the Breville juice fountain elite but returned it because it was loud and messy to use and clean as the cheap jucer we already owned and didn't like to use.
The omega is quiet and gives dry pulp. It will juice greens great ,even parsley . It is easy to put together and clean up is very quick and easy also. The feed tube and churn area is clear so you can watch your juice being made , which is fun for my kids. Reverse function is good if to much is fed in or soft fruit like apple is not followed by hard celery or carrot to push through. This juicer is a keeper !

As a first time juicer buyer, I did tons of researches after deciding on getting this Omega Juicer 8006 at BBB. I've been using this juicer everyday and at least once per day. It's pretty quiet while producing an excellent quality of juice. The pulps are so dried after all. Last but not least, the best part is super easy to clean. It's a well worth money investment. With a coupon of 20% off, I saved $60 when purchasing this model at BBB v else where.

This unit has totally surpassed my expectations. It's quiet and it extracts the juice perfectly. I am also surprised at the amount of yield vs the amount of items being juiced. I am totally pleased. I have had the exact same experience as the prior review. I purchased this juicer in August 2012 and I have been using it daily for juicing including wheatgrass. The inside strainer broke on 10/5/12. I am devasted b/c I love this juicer and I do not want to miss a day of fresh juice. Now I wonder if this juicer can handle wheatgrass as it advertises. There is a 15 year warranty but I am not sure it will cover the strainer. I plan on returning it and asking for a replacement.

I purchased this juicer from BB&B on 06/19/2012, today is 09/09/2012. The inside strainer broke today while juicing wheat grass, this is supposed to be the heavy duty unit!. I went on Omega's website and the piece is $24, but it is out of stock. In the meantime I have a fridge full of vegetables meant for juicing. There was no reason for this part to break other than poor quality materials.
