I have owned the origional CHI for 5 years and i loved it!!
do to age it does not heat up anymore. I decided to buy the CHI AIR because of the great reviews and price. That
was a huge mistake. this product is poorly made the plates don't line up and lay flat, it pulls and snags my hair
and also causes static. none of which my original CHI
did! I think if CHI wants to sell a lower priced item they
need to do without compromising the integrity of the product! to those who love this product I suggest you spend about 30 to 50 dollars more and you will be amazed and truly know what a real flat iron is! I will be returning this item and going with another brand entirely!

I just purchased the Chi Air 1" and I absolutely love it !! This is the 3rd Chi ceramic hair styling iron I have owned. The 1st one lasted a long time, the 2nd one I shared with my teenage daughter for over 4 years and this one I will not share...she has her own. What a great product! I strongly recommend it.

i have had mine for 2 years now, i am so careless with it and drop it all the time. it has been great! i love the outcome of the hair it comes out silky, and extra straight. i love that it is extremely light and it heats up in 15 seconds

we bought this last christmas for our granddaughter and it broke within 4 months. on/off switch broke and couldn't be fixed. they had to turn it on using a screw driver or object to push the pin on. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!
